Conspiracy Theorist #2: Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense: "Here we're talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filled with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building(i.e. The Penatgon) and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center." "The people who did the bombing in Spain, or the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Penatgon..." Conspiracy Theorist #3: Dick Cheney: Rumsfeld says 9-11 plane 'shot down' in Pennsylvania Vice President Cheney: "Well, the – I suppose the toughest decision was this question of whether or not we would intercept incoming commercial aircraft." NBC's Tim Russert: "And you decided?" Cheney: "We decided to do it. Conspiracy Theorist #4: CIA Official Bill Christison: "The North and South Towers of the World Trade Center almost certainly did not collapse and fall to earth because hijacked aircraft hit them. A plane did not hit Building 7 of the Center, which also collapsed. All three were most probably destroyed by controlled demolition charges placed in the buildings before 9/11. A substantial volume of evidence shows that typical residues and byproducts from such demolition charges were present in the three buildings after they collapsed. The quality of the research done on this subject is quite impressive." Conspiracy Theorist #5: Lucky Larry Silverstein: Mr. Silverstein’s first order of business as the new owner of the entire WTC complex just prior to the 9/11 attacks was to change the company responsible for the security of the complex. The new security company he hired was Securacom (now Stratasec). George W. Bush's brother, Marvin Bush, was on its board of directors, and Marvin’s cousin, Wirt Walker III, was its CEO. According to public records, not only did Securacom provide electronic security for the World Trade Center, it also covered Dulles International Airport and United Airlines — two key players in the 9/11 attacks. We just consider Lucky Larry part of the Bush administration.
