Funny, my uncle didn't tell me the Jesuits were up to this when he was ordained.
Why, do you think he knew anything when he was ordained? People who join secret societies have to be in them long enough for their masters to judge how trusty worthy, i.e., blindly follows orders, before they are trusted with more bits of knowledge. After they gain a bit of knowledge and trust, they are again tested, before more is revealed. If, at any time in the process, a limit is preceived by the masters, the process stops and the initiate has reached his limit in the organization. At that point, the initiate is shunted off into some side job where he can waste his days away without doing harm to his masters, WHETHER HE IS AWARE OF THEM OR NOT IS IMMATERIAL TO THE PROCESS. I am sorry if you are confused about how this works. Perhaps, if you begin to study and learn about it, you will find some reasons why, in the Bible, we are warned not to take oaths, which are contractual in nature and bind us.

Could be... do not know, but look at the burden he carries; he was a Bishop, in the Roman church. Give him some time, and just maybe he can straighten himself out.
