The Jesuits

When you read the following, remember that the first job of the Jesuits was to destroy the Reformation that became the Protestant churches. It is estimated that they killed at least 10 million people in Europe during the fight to suppress the Reformation.

They were also responsible for the beginning of the Inquisition. There is one link below so that you can understand the Inquisition. Bible scholars will tell you that the Roman church is antiChrist. See the book Two Babylons; http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/2babindx.htm

(or The Papal Worship Proved to be the Worship of Nimrod and His Wife).

The entire book is free on line and should be read.

I was raised as a Catholic, and I have learned that each of us is responsible for what we believe, and, how we accept the need to learn, and change. For change is automatic IF we learn. It is also a slow process, so do not be discouraged because you do not learn everything in one or two days.

A caution. This Post is in the form of a study guide. If I were to post enough of this information to be worthwhile, it would amount to at least 100 pages. Take it slowly, and remember, men lie; God does not. And it is our responsibility to know that.

http://lazarusunbound.com/bunkp_doctrineantichrist.shtml The Doctrine of the Papal Antichrist

His revealing will follow directly upon great apostasy, and particularly this verse in 2nd Thessalonians proves that he will arise from within PROFESSING CHRISTIANITY, for who can fall away from the faith that has not first professed the faith? The “Man of Sin”, that “Son of Perdition” (following the pattern of Judas in John 17:12), will be ecclesiastical, a “church leader”. Paul and John both agree in this regard – that we are to look for the rise of Antichrist from within professing Christianity. …

… We have already shown in our previous essay that the King James Translators identified the Papacy as Antichrist in their introduction to that book. …

Jesuits, Reformation, Inquisition

http://www.corvalliscommunitypages.com/Europe/jesuits_saints_inquisition_reformation/an_inquisition_torture_session.htm

Although the Jesuits were organized as part of the Church's assault on the Reformation, they only occasionally took part in the Inquisition, including that which took place in Mexico. Far more frequently, it was the Dominicans and the Franciscan orders who led the Inquisition. The Franciscan practices were recorded b the Franciscan monk Angelo Clareno, who shared a cloister with others committed to St. Francis's vows of piety. The Jesuits themselves were in fact eventually suppressed in 1773 at the demand of the kings of Portugal, Spain and France although the order was restored in 1814.

http://www.reformation.org/jesuits.html

Dr. Wylie's massive History was published in 1878. The Jesuits did not self -destruct with the fall of the Papal States in 1870. As a matter of fact, that momentous event spurred them on to greater effort. The highest ranking Jesuit priest ever to escape that system and come to Christ was Dr. Alberto Rivera. He was a Bishop under the Extreme Oath of Induction. Normally, a person of such high rank who wants out knows too much, and always leaves feet first!! God miraculously spared his life for 30 years. He finally succumbed to Jesuit poison in June, 1997. Dr. Rivera authenticates everything that Dr. Wylie says in his book and the half has not been told!!

During the Second Vatican Council, Dr. Rivera was taken deep beneath the Vatican to the Secret Archives, where all the history of the world for the past 2000 years is stored. He was ordered to study the methods of infiltration and extermination used by Nero, Diocletian, Constantine, Dominic, Torquemada, and Loyola etc., in preparation for the Last Great Inquisition!! Dr. Rivera read many top secret documents that linked the Vatican to the creation of Islam and Communism etc.,etc.

Papal Rome

http://www.reformation.org/five-deadly-jesuits.html

Darwin (another doctor) stole the theory of evolution from ancient Egypt. …

Prior to Darby, all Protestant Christians believed that the Pope was Antichrist. They believed that the great falling away happened soon after the end of the apostolic age and that the Papal dynasty answered in every way to the great apostasy or falling away predicted by the Apostle Paul. This prophetic teaching (historicist) was playing havoc with the Roman church. Millions were escaping and obeying the Lord's command to "come out of her" Ignatius LIEola commissioned one of his Jesuits named Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) to write an opposing view. He wrote a 500 page commentary on the Book of Revelation. The main premise of his commentary was that : … …President Lincoln outwitted this fox. . . .In the fall of 1863, he arranged to have the Russian Navy show the flag in New York and San Francisco and their presence was a warning to England and France to stay out. …

There is a lot more information available if you simply care to learn, but I caution you; THIS WILL REQUIRE CHANGE!

Looking through those links, one winds up back with a number of Protestant organizations with an axe to grind. Many of them claim to be the "one true church" and thus must be discounted as credible.

When an actual live Jesuit comes on stage and not someone with an axe to grind, then people will stand up and listen. Until then, its too kooky a theory.

I do note that none of these people, NONE of them, save a few disgruntled folk who bailed out and are not entirely credible, have ANY experience with Jesuits. None.

This site is in the list above;

GRIZOGONO LETTER Source: Letter written by Privislav Grizogono, a Croat and a Roman Catholic, member of the Yugoslav Diplomatic Corps, Minister to Czechoslovakia, Minister to Poland, addressed to Dr. Aloisius Stepinac, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Zagreb, Croatia, February 8, 1942. Published in translation by the American Srbobran, a Serbian paper of Pittsburgh, Pa., U.S.A., February 24, 1943:

"These atrocities do not amount to killings alone. They aim at extermination of everything Serbian: women, children, and aged men, and in terribly wild tortures of the victims. These innocent Serbs were stuck on poles alive, and fires were built on their bare chests. Literally they were roasted alive, burned to death in their homes and churches. Boiling water was poured on live victims before mutilation; their flesh was salted. Eyes were dug out of live victims, ears amputated, noses and tongues lobbed off. The beards and mustaches of priests, together with their skin, were ripped off rudely by knives. They were tied to trucks and dragged behind them. The arms and legs of the victims were broken and their heads were spiked.

Here is a picture of a man whose head is being cut off with an axe. Take note of the expression on the face of the murderer who is doing that to him. Would you believe that he thinks the person he is murdering is a MONSTER?? Would you believe that if you were able to overpower them with armies and stop what they're doing, they couan look up at you with clear eyes and shout out, "ANTI- CATHOLIC??"

"They were thrown into the deep cisterns and caves, then literally bombed to pieces. Crowbars smashed their heads. Their children were thrown into fire, scalding water, and fed to the fired lime furnaces. Other children were parted by their legs; their heads crushed against walls and their spines dashed against rocks. These and many other methods of torture were employed against the Serbs--tortures which normal people cannot conceive. Thousands of Serbian bodies floated down the Sava, Drava, and Danube rivers and their tributaries. Many of these bodies bore tags: 'Direction-Belgrade, to King Peter.' In one boat on the Sava there was a pile of children's heads, with a woman's head (presumably the mother of the children) labeled: "Meat for John's Market- Belgrade" (meaning meat for the Serbian market).

A Picture of the Ustashi soldiers during World War II slowly cutting off a man's head with a hacksaw. These are Jesuits in soldiers uniforms. SEE THE PROTESTANT REFORMATOIN COME ALIVE AGAIN! Notice the other man posing with a sharp knife in his hand. From the left, a man is pointing a gun at the victim. These pictures were not taken by newsreporters. They were taken by the Ustashis themselves for the purpose of retaining glorious memories to show their commanders!!

One of the links above is a historical record of Jesuit involvement in the Inquistion.

Now, would you care to run that by me again, please?

These are Jesuits in soldiers uniforms.

How do we know that for certain? We don't. I don't see anything in that letter that offers any substantial proof that these were people acting on orders from the Church. Again, it is speculation.

The Inquisition was a bad thing, yes, but it killed far fewer than the "millions" claimed.

Care to run that by me again? Every religious organization has its nutcases. Usually, they are ejected. The Protestants burned how many millions of "witches"? How many people died in the 30 Years' War? How many Catholics were killed by Protestants in North America alone due to religious bigotry?

None are exempt from blame if you want to dig through history far enough, so your argument is null and void as the Protestants are just as bloodthirsty as you claim everyone else is.

If anything, you make a claim that Christianity should be abolished because they just can't figure it out.

The Inquisition was a bad thing, yes, but it killed far fewer than the "millions" claimed.

The Thirty Years War was a part of the Inquisition, and it was of and by the Catholics. This is history, and not something to be debated.

http:/ /mars.wnec.edu/~grempel/courses/wc2/lectures/30yearswar.html

Ferdinand could rely on the forces of the Catholic Reformation in his efforts to roll back the tide of Protestantism. The Catholic revival had already recouped a few losses in southern Germany, and Ferdinand himself had stamped out Protestantism in his duchies.

The real losers in the war were the German people. Over 300,000 had been killed in battle. Millions of civilians had died of malnutrition and disease, and wandering, undisciplined troops had robbed, burned, and looted almost at will. Most authorities believe that the population of the Empire dropped from about 21,000,000 to 13,500,000 between 1618 and 1648. Even if they exaggerate, the Thirty Years War remains one of the most terrible in history.

The above is not a Protestent site, and it shows, JUST IN GERMANY, 7,500,000 dead.

This is a (former) Catholic site; http://p105.ezboard.com/fxcatholicfrm14.showMessage? topicID=9.topic

If you think that the Inquisition was evil or misguided, just consider the state of those countries today where the Inquisitions were the most active – Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Nearly everyone in those countries is Catholic, and consequently, all three of those nations have the most restrictive abortion laws in the world.

This is the truth, as the Roman church claims infallibility, it could not have been a mistake to do the Inquisition.

This site has documents not available to Catholics; http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/ba nned.htm

Bible Possession Once Banned by the Catholic Church!

(Now that is not a joke; the first time I had a Bible (a gift from my mother), I could not wait to share it with my fellow students in the Catholic school I attended. The Priest made sure I took it right back home and told me, in no uncertain terms, that I did not need the Bible; THEY would tell me what to believe.)

ITEM #1 POPE INNOCENT III

Pope Innocent III stated in 1199:

... to be reproved are those who translate into French the Gospels, the letters of Paul, the psalter, etc. They are moved by a certain love of Scripture in order to explain them clandestinely and to preach them to one another. The mysteries of the faith are not to explained rashly to anyone. Usually in fact, they cannot be understood by everyone but only by those who are qualified to understand them with informed intelligence. The depth of the divine Scriptures is such that not only the illiterate and uninitiated have difficulty understanding them, but also the educated and the gifted (Denzinger- Schönmetzer, Enchiridion Symbolorum 770-771)

ITEM #2 COUNCIL OF TOULOUSE - 1229 A.D.

The Council of Toulouse, which met in November of 1229, about the time of the crusade against the Albigensians, set up a special ecclesiastical tribunal, or court, known as the Inquisition (Lat. inquisitio, an inquiry), to search out and try heretics. Twenty of the forty-five articles decreed by the Council dealt with heretics and heresy. It ruled in part:

Canon 1. We appoint, therefore, that the archbishops and bishops shall swear in one priest, and two or three laymen of good report, or more if they think fit, in every parish, both in and out of cities, who shall diligently, faithfully, and frequently seek out the heretics in those parishes, by searching all houses and subterranean chambers which lie under suspicion. And looking out for appendages or outbuildings, in the roofs themselves, or any other kind of hiding places, all which we direct to be destroyed.

Canon 6. Directs that the house in which any heretic shall be found shall be destroyed.

Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; unless anyone from motive of devotion should wish to have the Psalter or the Breviary for divine offices or the hours of the blessed Virgin; but we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books.

I would suggest, my friend, that instead of looking to the Roman church for answers, you first find the answers readily available to important questions, and then do something that Catholics simply do not do, ask God, on your knees, for help and guidance. It sure worked for me.

The Council of Toulouse, which met in November of 1229

Let's blow away the kookery here, shall we?

1229 was hundreds of years before the invention of the printing press. Anyone who cites anything dealing with printed material before the printing press has a dead argument. Why? Its simple - they are arguing against history.

A book had to be hand-copied back then and cost on the order of one to ten years' pay. The literacy rate back before the printing press was somewhere below 10%. It would take up to a year for a single man to copy out a single Bible and scribes were known to create errors. Just examine the surviving NT manuscripts - no two are identical.

Now, anyone who says, "They prevented the handing out of Bibles!" has to deal with history being thrown back in their face. Books simply did not exist except for the clergy (note: the term 'clerical worker' comes from this) and the extremely wealthy.

Then, they have to deal with the fact that commoners couldn't read or write.

History itself makes this a dead argument and anyone advancing it is either ignorant of how things were back then or simply has an axe to grind. Either way, it shows an amazing lack of basic knowledge and such persons are to be ignored until they learn some basic history.

The actual Catholic doctrine was to ban the possession of unauthorized editions of the Bible. Keep in mind the Marcion heresy where he altered the texts to suit his needs. If anyone can produce a Bible saying whatever they want, of what good is it?
