Take a look - Except for the juicy "dirt" articles, activity on El Pee is incredibly minimal. The last I looked, there is a long string of articles with less than ten comments; many good topics with zero. (Goldi-Lost deserves what she gets.) Nada-Minus!

not much news gets posted over there anymore. what does go up is creepy blog stuff from barf alert. someone told me to go back and look at what it was in 2003. i did that and it is really different. the standards have really dropped off over there.

Her banning of free thinkers, mostly anti-Bush types was her down fall. I like a good number of posters there and that's why I show up once in a while.

You got two posts over there basically. Usually some variant about the "liberal media" or something about the evil muslims. I think there is a thread over there now with all the cowards cheering on some dope in Britain who dumped a pig's head outside some Mosque in London. They are the sort of people who would have made great Nazis- so easy to get them to hate large masses of people most of them have never even had any sort of contact with whatsoever. A few of them even lie about having these long discusions with imaginary Moslems that "Told them" they are waiting for orders from a "Council of Imams" to attack and kill everyone in America. When I pointed out to this idiot that there is no such thing as a "council of Imams" he just sorta went away. They are delusional frightened pee panters with like to scare themselves by inventing slasher tales about scarry mooslems coming to kill them while they sleep. They are, in two words, embarassing and silly.

Count Raisedeyebrows among the missing there. He's off posting on branches of Indymedia and other forums. I don't even see him here in the flesh much in Eugene anymore either. We used to post in the same office and talk about what was going on. Amazing Goldi in her paranoia couldn't figure out there were times he'd be here and I would be at an IP coming from Portland when she accused me of being two posters. She is no Sherlock Holmes, that girl.
they are dangerous. they would sell their freedom for a false promise of security. and they don't want any of us to have something they don't. so when they sell out on their freedom, they want everyone to give up their freedoms as well. they actually fear free people. they seek a regimented society. either by means of a crushing fundamentalist religion or by means of a centralized authoritarian government. they have a police state mentality. they will be the ones cheering for the national id card and the cashless society. they will tell us that it prevents terrorists, but it actually just pulls everyone else down to their level. that is what they really want.

I think a challenge for any worthwhile political or current event discussion forum is to maintain an atmosphere in which discussions are serious, civil, and yet diverse. Boteye is neither serious or civil. He is a serial disruptor who doesn't read the articles he posts on and is either clearly a sick person with not much to do or indeed some retired GOPER functionary sitting around in an old age home spewing the line. In other words- he brings nothing to any serious forum and should have been banned a long time ago. In the late 90's- these forums were indeed better. Then the hacks of the two party fraud co-opted them and have turned formally thriving and exciting sites into the one line sound bite spewing moron mills they are today.
What makes them the most pathetic sissies in the history of world- more so than any other people who ever sold their freedom for security- is that their boogeyman of "Islam" is perhaps the stupidest, weakest, most implausible enemy ever. It would be as if the Chinese were suddenly calling for Mao to come back and make them wear little black pajamas because they feared indians from the Brazilian rain forest were coming to kill them. Hell- the Germans at least were afraid of Communists on their borders. What is the excuse of these incredible pussies? I blame Oprah. American manhood is dead. Replaced by these duck tape buying homos.
i think it is a lot worse than that. i doubt that many of them are really afraid of terrorist attacks. that official fear is just a tool they use to impliment the controls they would like to see on society. they are really afraid of free people. they are both afraid and jealous of them. they want a tightly regulated society where nobody does anything that they can't do or of which they do not approve. i've dealt with these types before. the 'terrorist threat' is just a tool to put the centralized authoritarian government in place. that is what they really want.

Boteye isn't all that hard to figure out. For a while I just thought that people on the boards were generally stupid for not being able to see what he is, but I had to realize that most people don't live in Ohio, which for one reason or another, seems to be overpopulated with his personality type. First and foremost, he's an amature party hack who has probably read a couple of self help books on how to manipulate people. His claims to being a successful "bidnessman" are bullshit. People like him who have a little bit of money either inherit or marry it. And judging by his leased Hummer and mortgage that his wife had to co-sign on, he doesn't have all that much. I've known several successful businessmen and even more bullshit artists. Successful businessmen don't hang out for eight hours each and every business day posting bits from talking points memos on websites. That is the trait of someone's brother in-law whose water is being carried to keep him from being too much of an embarrassment to the family.

I am agreeing with you way too much this morning. Thats just the way it is.
I won't make any comment on to any of his claims as they are more than likely lies or the imagination of a delusional loser. All I know is that he is buffoonish one or two line soundbite spewer and an unserious bore. He detracts from that site more than anything else and should have been banned a long time ago.

I like a good number of posters there and that's why I show up once in a while. Why don't I get banned? Do you think Goldi likes me? I disagree with her Zionism but I still think that she's a good person or, at least, that she tries to be good and fair. It's not easy to be good and fair all the time so she fails from time to time. Allowing the Barf person to post obscure blogs as 'editorials' or 'breaking news' is indeed annoying. Badacid is probably annoying too but I 'ignored' him a long time ago and he doesn't bother me any longer.

I think your analysis is very good. I had a similar theory myself. I was thinking that he was a guy who had been a cop, but was raised up into his business position by people who find him useful. He said that he oversees a company that does background checks by checking computer records. My theory is that his company is used as a tool to provide negative background checks to people who are targeted. Information is put into the computers that is false about certain people. and if they are ever caught, then badeye is the fall-guy. in the mean-time he is the token leader & owner of the company. real businessmen don't post the way he does, you're right about that. badeye is a stupid individual.
