09/27/2006 HATE CRIME COLLEGE REPUBLICAN ALLEGEDLY BEATEN BY LIBERAL THUGS This is disturbing. Justin Zatkoff, the executive director of the Michigan College Republicans, was brutally beaten after leaving a party in Ann Arbor on Saturday night. The Oakland University junior from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. was rumored to be targeted by militant leftist groups. Zatkoff, pictured above, did not know his attacker, and no money was stolen. A source close to Zatkoff reports: Justin may have been 1. randomly attacked (but not robbed??), 2. attacked by BAMN (well known for violence andstrong in Ann Arbor), or 3. attacked by a homosexual rights group (Justin received an ‘odd/threatening’ email from a gay rights group about a day before the attack.) The mainstream press has not picked up the story. A report from the Michigan College Republicans earlier this week said: Justin Zatkoff, Executive Director for the MFCRs, was attacked leaving a party in Ann Arbor Saturday night. Justin had not seen the attacker before, and had no opportunity to defend himself. Justin is well-known for being a conservative and ‘in-your-face’ Republican, and there is quite a bit of speculation that he was targeted by leftist groups. The side of his face was crushed, and he will need to undergo major surgery to rebuild it.

It could be worse....he could have had his legs blown off of his body in Iraq. He could have been killed in combat in Afghanistan. Oops. Nevermind. Putting yourself into that sort of danger would require that you have the courage of your convictions. I forgot that the story was about a College Republican.

Ummmmmm...I love the inflated hype given to this story. The photo was an error in judgement - it under mines the "horrors" described in the text. "The side of Justin's face was crushed" ??? looks like a black eye to me.... "needing major surgery to re-build it" ???? HAHAHAHA. Justin is getting his insurance company to pay for the nose job that he and his parents always wanted for him but were too cheap to pay for. "hate crime" ???? being punched in the eye for acting like an "in your face conservative" asshole is an act of self-defense, I would think....Can you imagine how obnoxious Justin would be at a party, with a few too many beer under his belt? Oiye vey... Give me a break...

No witnesses, no proof, just a "get me an internship" type story in the wingnut press. To me he sounds like the sort of loud mouth who (1) has a lot of enemies and (2) knows how to milk an unfortunate incident.

They are cut from the same cloth. I just don't want to hear any bitching from those who advocate and applaud murderous wars and torture and a lawless federal government when they get a taste of what they advocate in general. The Nazis and Communists had running street battles in Germany in the 20's in which they murdered and beat each other. I don't give a shit about amoral lawless nihilists killing and beating each other.
To me he sounds like the sort of loud mouth who (1) has a lot of enemies and (2) knows how to milk an unfortunate incident. That sums it up for me. These are the asshats who have had slave auctions and Catch an Immigrant Day, and other clever stunts like that. I am having a hard time developing even a shred of sympathy for this little creep. When he and his buddies manage to get the draft reinstated and constant war becomes the standard way of life here, he won't get any closer to the action than to, say, call Tammy Duckworth, who lost both her legs in Iraq, "Tammy Dykeworth," as they are doing over at FRetard City.
