In the following video, Snow seems to be playing down the Foley scandal, telling reporters, "Yeah, look, I hate to tell you but it's not always pretty up there on Capitol Hill. There have been other scandals, as you know, that have been more than simply naughty emails." Snow's "naughty emails" remark occurs around 5:28 into the video.
The scandal involving Congressman Foley and a teenaged Capitol Hill page is nothing more than "naughty emails", says White Press Secretary Tony Snow.

Had this been some moron who taught school, or worked at a bank, that exchanged these sort of e-mails with a minor, and you'd have the asshole in chains, and arrested as a pedophile. YET... When a member of Congress, or a Senator does something, it's just naughty behavior. Give me a fucking break. There are two sets of laws. Just taking into account his performance as a spin artist and paid liar- I would say Snow is just damn bad at his job. Dismissing pick up attempts of teen boys over the internet as "naughty emails" is just downright creepy. That didn't help Tony.

A smart shill would say "of course this is atrocious and we are outraged but there have been other similiar scandals on the other side of the aisle. We will get to bottom of this I assure you!"
