Leo Franks was a bisexual pedophile, and a drug addict, who managed a pencil factory in Atlanta via 1913. One day he demanded sex from a 12 yr. old employee named Mary Phagan, she refused, so then he brutally raped and murdered her. Frank, and a handyman, drag the body to the basement where they were going to burn it in the factory furnace the next day. That night, a watchman finds the body - calls the police - Franks is arrested - found guilty and sentenced to hang. The governor commutes the sentence, and Marietta finest families broke into jail and lynched him This incident lead to the creation of ADL in 1913. what a story. I remember reading in high school history class about how this jewish lawyer was lynched by jew-hating mob.
He wasn't a lawyer, just a pedophile coke addict who raped and strangled a 12- year-old girl. If this "mob" was "jew-hating," then why was Frank the only Jew ever to be lynched in the U.S.? Most of those lynched were white; were all those people "white-hating"?

now I remember - the history book we had in high school in georgia said that it was a jewish business owner the mob lynched, out of jealousy for his success. No mention of Mary Phagan, cocaine, or anything else.
I knew nothing of this story until Cyni told me about it a month or so ago.
Coke adds life. Or, as it was once translated into Chinese, it brings your ancestors back from the grave.
Sounds like the "history" book left out a few minor details. Published most likely by Schwartz and Lipshitz.

This Senator had a serious drinking problem. Dad complained about him getting drunk on the plane when he flew him from Connecticut to D.C. or visa versa. Note who he lost his first senatorial election to, the dad of GHW Bush. Just thought you would find it interesting. I have pictures of me as a boy with this guy. Thomas J. Dodd Dodd was elected as a Democrat to the House of Representatives in 1952, and served two terms. He lost a Senate election in 1956 to Prescott S. Bush, but was elected in 1958 to Connecticut's other Senate seat and then re-elected in 1964. In 1967 he was censured by the Senate for using campaign funds for personal purposes. In 1970, after suffering a heart attack, he chose not to run for re-election for the Senate, and the Democrats nominated Joseph Duffey to replace him. However, Dodd entered the race after the primary, which both he and Duffey lost to Lowell Weicker. Dodd was known to have a very serious problem with alcohol. In an infamous 1965 incident that took place on Capitol Hill, Dodd was reported to be so inebriated that he needed the help of two secretaries to reach his car. Dodd died in 1971. His son Christopher J. Dodd was elected to the Senate as a Connecticut Democrat in 1980.

My Dad flew for Wyatt Oil Company in New Haven, Connecticut. Read those two Wikipedia articles I linked, and note Tom Dodd was a heavy hitter in Nuremberg during the war crimes trial. He helped put the ropes around the necks of friends of Prescott Bush. Interesting, yes? Read the article linked in Tom Dodd's article to his son current Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd. Note that Chris Dodd is for lifting the embargo in Cuba and has met with Hugo Chavez. You already know as I do Prescott's grandson, the current President wants to kill Hugo. Just enough parallels for me to go to the University of Oregon library tomorrow to do some research. I am just curious if the dynasty aspects of these two families and how they wind up on different sides of things make you curious too. Wyatt Oil often flew politicians for free on their corporate aircraft, and my Dad was the head pilot. I have pictures of me with Edward and Bobby Kennedy too when I was five. I flew allot as a very young boy too by the way. We owned a Cessna 140.

Except of course Franks was innocent, the drunken black janitor did it, and was the victim of the typical raging and real anti semitism of the time. Governor Slaton commuted his death sentance and thereby ended his political career which had been on the rise as he was supposedly a shoe in to be a Senator after his term. He never held elected office again. This was a trial in which moonshined up mobs fresh from fiery anti semitic sermons from their illiterate "preachers" chanted "kill the Jew" outside the courthouse. The racist Tom Watson built his career on this case used it to launch his thankfully short lived Senate career and also used it to help build up the KKK. This is one of the fav cases of the Jew obssessed nutjobs. Their hate of Jews generally rises above their hate of blacks (the girl's real killer.)

And, you know this, how? I've read the evidence and it does not support absolute guilt or innocence. Isn't it more likely that you're simply baiting those that you despise? Or, are you privy to evidence that no one else has seen?

I heard that he was a Jewish factory owner, and a young girl was raped and killed there. The real crminal got away, and that man was unfairly lynched by the ignorant townspeople because he was Jewish.

He didn't get away- they used him in the trial- having to practically tell him verbatim what to say- and even then he fucked up on the stand. They knew their own witness did the crime. It didn't matter. They wanted the Jew Capitalist Industrialist to be the patsy. Its an old story. In 60 years we will be hearing about the numerous innocent mooslims railroaded on hysteria and lies and fixed witnesses and made up bullshit. At least Frank has had a measure of vindication. Poor Bruno Hauptman is still the official patsy for the Lindberg baby killing though I highly doubt that poor slob did the deed.

His "vindication" consisted of the court saying he shouldn't bave been lynched, not that he was innocent, which he wasn't. Those who lie and say Frank was innocent can only do two things: blame it on the girl, and say she was a 12-year-old slut, or blame it on the black guy. You obviously believe the second. He was in possession of some of the ransom money. If he was innocent then the money would have been planted, and there is no evidence of that. If you believe it was, then that would mean that the cops were in possession of the money after it was delivered or, the FBI allowed the serial numbers of the money found in Hauptmann's possession to be added to the partial list. (the ransom money was gathered and delivered so quickly that there wasn't time to get all of the serial numbers, if you can believe that)
Poor Bruno Hauptman is still the official patsy for the Lindberg baby killing though I highly doubt that poor slob did the deed.

Planted along with the ladder and the "phone number" to the ransom deliverer written in the closet (faked by a reporter). He was beaten by the police and neither lindberg nor the go between who delivered the ransom initially identified Hauptmann. Framed. The Gov of Jersey knew it too. And last, but not least- Linberg called his lawyer first, before calling the police when this whole drama started . . .

By the way- the only thing that has changed are the collective phobias and fears and hates that savy malicious prosecutors and political parasites instinctively are able to exploit. The wave of repressed guilt of "working moms" who were dropping their kids off at Day Care mills in the 80's and early 90's is a great case in point. That cultural collective guilt trip was masterfully exploited by a number of evil prosecutors and politicians all over this country. As with cases like Frank and Hauptmann the "evidence" in all those day care abuse cases was built upon mountains of lies- that these prosecutors (like Janet Reno) knew were lies. We don't like to think that people exist who do such things- prosecute innocent people knowingly- but they do- every damn day.

Politics sure seems to run in families...must be a demon seed ;-) [Meaning most truly altruistic people would never run, and if they did, could not be elected. It takes "connections," family or business.] That Tom helped put the rope around Prescott Bush's neck is amazing, and that his son is for lifting the Cuban embargo. The very few altruistic folks in government seem to be outnumbered, however.
