October 6/7/8, 2006 -- WMR's Capitol Hill sources report that chairman of the National Republican Congressional Campaign Tom Reynolds was involved in the cover up of the Mark Foley Pagegate scandal since at least October 4, 2005. That was the day Reynolds hired Foley's chief of staff Kirk Fordham as his own chief of staff. Our Hill sources report that Fordham was hired by Reynolds to provide Fordham "safe harbor" from the scandal that was enveloping Foley's office. Although congressional chiefs of staff make salaries as high as $120,000 a year, Reynolds paid Fordham a mere $78,000 as part of the deal for Reynolds to provide Foley's chief aide a job on the Hill. -- a deal that appears to have been arranged by Foley to hush-up the scandal. After resigning as Reynolds' chief of staff, Fordham stated that he informed House Speaker Dennis Hastert's office about Foley's conduct over three years ago. Fordham stayed on as Foley's chief of staff until early 2004 and eventually Foley arranged for the deal to transfer Fordham to Reynolds' office. Foley sweetened the deal by pouring $330,000 into Reynolds' NRCC campaign coffers over a three-year period. One longtime Hill source stated that "Reynolds is so sleazy . . . he'll do anything for money."

GOP Rep. Tom Reynolds: "he'll do anything for money." Including covering up criminal activity by his colleagues.

The GOP and neo-con spin machines are trying to tamp down the scandal for one major reason. If the scandal continues to grow, what has been described by Hill sources as a secretive GOP "homoerotic network" in Washington, DC will be exposed. This network reportedly has maintained a strong lock on the House Clerk's Office, the House Speaker's Office, the offices of key GOP congressmen, the Republican National Committee, the West Wing of the White House, conservative think tanks, and elements of the neo-con news media.

There is a cancer growing on the Republican Party (paraphrasing John Dean's comments about the Watergate scandal and the presidency of Richard Nixon).

In the Sep. 30/Oct. 1 edition of WMR, it was reported: ". . . WMR has learned of possible connections between GOP lawmakers and former school teacher John Mark Karr, who was arrested in Thailand and deported to the United States after he claimed, falsely, that he killed six-year old Jon Benet Ramsey at her Boulder, Colorado home in 1996. After Boulder prosecutors declined to prosecute Karr for JonBenet's death, he was transferred to Sonoma County, California to face misdemeanor child pornography charges. However, U.S. intelligence source report to WMR that the high degree of interest shown by U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. intelligence officials in Karr -- including having one CIA officer in Bangkok intercede, along with DHS Bangkok attache Ann Hurst, with Thai law enforcement authorities after Karr's arrest -- was due to Karr's knowledge of the involvement of top U.S. government officials in a major pedophilia ring."

Yesterday, a Sonoma County judge dismissed five-year old child pornography charges against Karr, a former Petaluma schoolteacher. The Sonoma County Sheriff's office managed to "lose" Karr's computer, which allegedly contained five sexually-explicit photos of children.

***

Editorial note: The editor, who once helped the FBI and the Naval

Investigative Service investigate a major pedophilia ring in the U.S. Navy that linked to similar networks in the White House, judiciary, and Republican Party, is well aware of the nature of the scandal that is now being exposed in the Pagegate matter. There are a number of Democratic women running for office around the country. At this point in time, it is those Democratic women who stand the best chance of cleaning the House and the Senate of the pederastic network that has seized control of the machinery of legislative government.

***

White House Press Secretary continues to downplay the Pagegate scandal as involving "naughty e-mails" from an older man to a "younger man." Snow, as Bush's spokesman, speaks for the President of the United States on the Pagegate matter. Hey Tony, would you be so sanguine if you found out that Foley was sending sexually-explicit emails to your 10-year old son? What would you think Tony if Foley began regularly visiting your son's Fairfax County school to talk about protecting kids from Internet predators?

Bush's and Snow's indifference to predatory sexual habits of senior GOP congressmen should come as no surprise after revelations that a male prostitute who specialized in military-themed trysts was given daily access to the White House, where he remained over night on a number of occasions. And then there are those pesky rumors about Bush's own Chief of Staff.

[WMR will provide weekend updates if any news breaks on the Pagegate scandal.]

October 6/7/8, 2006 -- In another warning sign about the Bush administration's plans for Iran and other Middle East countries, it is reported that the neo-conservative American Enterprise Institute (AEI) has started publishing its Middle East policy papers in Persian and Arabic. The translation ploy is an attempt to influence the opinions of the Arab and Persian populations, thus bypassing the official U.S. government propaganda mechanisms, which are seen by the neo-cons as insufficient. Egypt, which is proceeding with its own nuclear plans, appears to be on the neo-con/AEI target list after Iran and Syria.

October 6/7/8, 2006 -- WMR's reports on possible "Moonie" ties of prospective UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon of South Korea has resulted in the typical flood of e-mails from Moonie adherents around the world. The e-mails are distinguished by their poorly-written English, ad hominem attacks, and charges that there are factual errors in our reports. These "Moonie" boiler room e-mail operations are conducted any time their cult becomes the subject of media attention.

The "Moonie" e-mails have one thing in common -- they are all extremely supportive if Ban Ki-moon's candidacy for Secretary General. Sun Myung Moon is on record stating that he wants to tranform the United Nations into a worldwide religious organization under his control.

October 5, 2006 -- Tracy Henke, who President Bush recess-appointed to the post of Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Grants and Training, is resigning. Henke became infamous for cutting homeland security funds for New York City and Washington, DC while seeing to it that her native Missouri and Dick Cheney's Wyoming received more than their share of homeland security money. Henke's dishing out of huge grant and training money to Missouri at the expense of more vulnerable locations like New York City, New Jersey, and Washington, DC irritated some Homeland Security Department officials. The word is that many career officials in the department are happy to see Henke go.

Ironically, Henke, while a Deputy Associate Attorney General in the Justice Department, testified on June 9, 2005 before the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security on "Protecting Our Nation's Children From Sexual Predators and Violent Criminals."

Tracy Henke, a one-time Bush point person on sexual predators, resigns from Dept. of Homeland Security. (3 images)

Oh man, go Wayne, go. This Lee Harvey Karr thing stinks to high heaven.

I've actually worked a lot with gay men in the past and while they are generally good people, one thing I'd notice has come to mind again with Wayne's article above. I noticed that when the gays were in the majority, they would try to keep straight men out of positions, or force them out. Maybe this is a natural human tendency of groups, but I was thinking of how this gay network has apparently formed in Washington and what it really means to we the citizens who perhaps unwittingly have elected them. Or what the shadow govt of bureaucracy that none of us elects might actually be doing up there....

Barney Frank cannot be blackmailed over his homosexuality because he's out there with it.

But the shadow govt can twist the hypocritical GOP gay mafia anyway it wants.

That's generally true, as long as Barney stays away from "hot bottom" prostitutes, which was his political problem before. As long as someone stays away from kids and prostitutes, generally most voters don't care (unless they're from an extremely red state, in which case a gay guy might want to move). But as for Barney these days, I don't think most people could give a rat's patootie what he does with his partner in their private life. That's his business.

There was an uproar over a pedophile ring being run by his boyfriend. How much Frank was involved we'll never know. But, you caught the drift of what I was trying to say.

Remember Reynolds accepted $100k from Foley in July?

TOMPAC, Reynolds’s very personal PAC, wrote Foley a check for $5k on May 10, 2006. And on July 27th, the [National Republican Congressional Committee], which Reynolds chairs, accepted (an unusually) large contribution of $100,000 from Foley.

I don't believe so. BTW, does it surprise you that this $100K was listed as 'excess funds' on http://opensecrets.org --- someone ping the 'You Gotta Be Shitting Me' group!

Also listed was a tiny 'donation' from Jack Abramoff to Foley for $2K plus a donation to George Allen for Senate from Foley’s campaign funds.

Here is the link to expenditures. Go to main page for Foley to see donations from others.

the %age of homosexuals in this country's population is 10, correct?

I think your figures are over-generous and are probably based on Kinsey's flawed research - Kinsey only used prison population for his research, which for obvious reasons might reflect a skewed/inflated figure. I think MSM and other pro-gay outlets continued to recyle the 10% figure because frankly it would make Americans more sympathetic to their cause ( a 1 in 10 ratio is a nice convenient figure for middle America to wrap their brains around and engender empathy)

Recent studies suggest that the range is closer to 4%.

For example, in the USA data shows gays to comprise approx. 2.3 % of the general population and lesbians approx. 1.3%. Of course, these percentages for the nation as a whole vary from state to state.

Source: the 2002 National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) (interviewing a nationally representative sampling of 12,571 people ages 15-44), found that 2.3% of men and 1.3% of women self-identified as homosexual.

“Sexual Behavior and Selected Health Measures: Men and Women 15–44 Years of Age, United States, 2002,” Advance Data from Vital and Health Statistics,Report No. 362, National Center for Health Statistics, Sept. 15, 2005.

In response to a question that asked, “Do you think of yourself as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or something else?” 90 percent of men 18-44 years of age responded that they think of themselves as heterosexual, 2.3 percent of men answered homosexual, 1.8 percent bisexual, 3.9 percent “something else,” and 1.8 percent did not answer the question (figure 8).

Percents for women were similar [but a bit lower].

A Canadian study ( as reported in 2003) reported similar stats:

http://www.statca n.ca/Daily/English/040615/d040615b.htm

"CCHS Cycle 2.1 is the first Statistics Canada survey to include a question on sexual orientation. This information is needed to understand differences in health-related issues between the homosexual (gay or lesbian), bisexual and heterosexual populations. These issues include determinants of health, such as physical activity, mental health issues, including stress, and problems accessing health care.

Among Canadians aged 18 to 59, 1.0% reported that they consider themselves to be homosexual and 0.7% considered themselves bisexual.

About 1.3% of men considered themselves homosexual, about twice the proportion of 0.7% among women. However, 0.9% of women reported being bisexual, slightly higher than the proportion of 0.6% among men...The results are similar to those obtained in the United States using the concept of identity."
