What's upsetting to me, is that there are so many people who have not yet awakened to what is really going on in our country, and in our world. Could I suggest that if you can listen to internet radio, try http://www.rbnlive.com and http://www.gcnlive.com for some alternative views on the events of the day, and some very good personal heath information that the FDA does not want you to know?
Believing that is not in itself heresy. But, supporting the doing of evil or doing evil yourself because you believe that you're going to be escape-hatched out of the world your evil-doing has helped to make a bloody apocalyptic mess IS heresy. Alot of American "Christians" are going to be shocked when God leaves them behind to reap in full the evils they have sown. President Bush is doing all he can to stop the Islamic terror... Excuse me? Bush is the world's greatest terrorist. Under the Decider's rule... ...the false flag terror op called 9-11 was perpetrated by our Spook Empire ...two nations have been invaded, plundered and massacred on false pretenses ...hundreds of thousands of innocents have been murdered or are dying from exposure to our exploded toxic depleted uranium ammo ...the Geneva Conventions have been trashed and the systematic torture of innocents promoted ...our Bill of Rights has been trashed, American's privacy systematically violated without probable cause or judicial review, and many imprisoned, denied habeus corpus and held without charges or hope of a trial (all in flagrant violation of our Constitution, of course) If you support any of this, then you, my dear "Christian," have crossed over to the darkside. And, unless you repent, the rapture when it comes will very likely leave you behind. ...and if you buy into the evil of killing people to keep President Bush from rebuilding a country torn apart by decades of having an evil leader, you are giving aid and comfort to out ememies. In it, a GOP insider tells you that he and his fellow Repuke elite are laughing at you rubes, throwing you red meat to keep you voting for their totalitarian agenda. Remember, Hitler did the same thing. He got the religious types all wound up about Jews and homos and darkies, and once he had killed most of them off, he started throwing the religious into camps. Your pastor is in the business of separating you from your money, and what he's telling you is meant to do just that. Who needs money if the end times are right around the corner?

I certainly think it is good to take the bible seriously. The 'rapture' enthusiasts want to focus on a very few verses and blow them out of proportion IMHO. I do not believe that people who take the bible seriously can support Bush. Unless they are horribly deceived. and you know what hte bible says about deception. it says the evil ones will employ great deception very successfully in the end-times. Did you know that the US began to support Saddam Hussein in the mid-1950's when Saddam was 18 years old? It is true. he had committed several murders of a political nature, but he was unsuccessful at bringing his political clique to power in Iraq, he was a wanted man and his time was short as the authorities were going to arrest him and kill him, and the US CIA took him in and sheltered him in Egypt all through his 20's. He never had a job during his 20's. He was supported by the US taxpayers instead. In his early 30's he was brought back to Iraq and in a CIA-supported coup his clique came to power, but Saddam was not made the top leader at that time. Then a few years later in 1978 he was elevated to being the top leader - president. Then the US began to really deal with Saddam. The US gave his regime 40 billion dollars worth of cash and goods during the 1980's. It started with the US paying him billions of dollars worth of grain to start a war with Iran. There were one million people that died in that war. It included the use of chemical weapons by both sides. Saddam got his chemical weapons from the US. No christian can support this. Look at how many people die due to the wars that the US started. It is over 100 people per day every day. These people did not attack us. Our government and those who support our government attacked them instead. The bible instructs us not to worship other gods, and it specifically tells us not to worship Molech. But Bush and his clan are known to go to california each year and participate in human sacrifice ceremonies where Molech is worshiped. And I'm not making this up, the ceremony has actually been filmed and audio recorded. The people behind that ceremony openly admit they do it even. I read about it in the Wall Street Journal in 1979. It is very well documented that what I'm telling you is true. The bible says that god will descend to earth and build his kingdom here on earth at conclusion of the end-times. There is much prophecy in the bible that if you take it seriously leads you to see that Bush and his clan are very evil. They're on the wrong side. If you mean what you said in your post, then you are being deceived in a huge way. Does the bible say that we should tax the poor at a higher rate of their income than the rich must pay of their income? No, it does not. and it says we should be very concerned about the poor and go out of our way to make sure things are OK for them. But Bush and the Republicans just 6 months ago lowered the top tax rate for the richest Americans down to 15%. This is known as the 'investment income' tax rate. This is a new innovation that only serves to lower the tax rate on the richest people. But the poorest people must pay the payroll tax, and that is at 16% currently. The poorest pay higher than the richest. And bush is on record as saying he wants the payroll tax raised to 21%. Christians cannot support this type of a regime. You are deceived about the islamic terror if you really mean what you say. The big terrorist events in our time are frauds. They are not as our media and government has said they were. This has been proven. tv is not reality. reality is not tv. If you believe that it is, then you are practicing idolatry. There is great deception on tv and in the media. Babylon is here. You should read the bible prophecy about babylon in the end-times. That is a dominant theme of the bible, just as the jesus themes are dominant, the end-times babylon themes are also just that dominant. But the rapture verses are relatively obscure and open to interpretation. Why do the 'christians' ignore the babylon prophecies. I suggest it is because as jesus said during the end times there would be a false or 'fallen-away' church. If you believe that today we are in end-times, then you should be looking for babylon, and you should be looking for the fallen-away church. because bible says those things will be here in the end-times.
well Sherrie - after reading the entire thread I see that you seem to be sincere and serious in your views. Don't apologize for posting your honest views. We at this forum are pretty set in our opinions. but we certainly don't mind a sincere person who is not malicious that just doesn't agree with us. We're shocked that you're so pro-bush. I was a loyal republican for many years. I used to convince others to vote republican. But I began to question them in 1989 based on things that George HW Bush was actually doing as president. Over a long period of time I became completely disenchanted with them because of actual events and things that they did. I voted for Bush in 2000 thinking he was lesser of two evils and we needed a change. But in summer of 2001 when I saw he supported the education bureaucracy and all the evil that entails I knew I had been duped. Bush is very evil just as I told you. Across the board, I don't care what issue you select the real Bush record is evil from a christian point of view. I used to go to a church. but the pastor began to worship bush and that was too much for me. We cannot save the world through the actions of man. The democracy and our government are the things of man. Man is being discredited on a mass scale. this is the agenda of the end-times. The rule of man is being shown to be evil and dysfunctional. We need jesus to return and build his kingdom here. We need him to return to defeat the evil ones. We will all grow to know this, or we will deny it and put faith in man. You should take the advice someone gave you above and listen to gcn or rbn on the internet radio. It will be very upsetting to you though. It will be hard to learn things you don't want to know. but don't be deceived. What does scripture say about being deceived in the end-times? It says to avoid this and that it is horrible to be deceived in those times. and if you think the things you've been saying, then I think that you are deceived. praise the lord. he will return. he will not let us be ravaged by the evil that is here in this world forever. he will defeat them. he will build his kingdom here. he will make us lie down in the green pastures. he will build a table for us before our enemies. we must have faith in god, not in the things of man. bush is a foul-mouthed man who supports death. his party passed a law supporting the practice of forcing little children to be drugged up with anti- depressant drugs which harms those children tremendously. he supports the vaccines that cause autism in children. he supports the use of depleted uranium in war and the depleted uranium is a poison that causes birth defects and death on a mass scale. The people being killed in these wars are not being killed in a just manner. the wars are unjust. the terrorism that we witnessed was a fraud. If you want to confirm all of these things by seeking out information sources other than the big money mainstream media, then you can. The love of money is the root of all evil. and the evil ones who do oppose jesus have developed a conspiracy to rule the world. The bible calls this group babylon that succeeds at ruling the earth in the end-times. George Bush works for babylon. he's their puppet.
one of your posts mentioned Israel. Israel is not what we're told in many christian circles. Deception is at play regarding Israel. Israel is the great aggressor in terms of violence towards other nations. The people of bethleham where jesus was born are greatly oppressed by the Israelis. The Israelis are not the people of god that you presume. In fact they are a people that systematically reject god. Do an opinion survey in Israel and ask them if they believe in god. an amazingly high percentage will say they do not believe in god. It is not like that in almost any other country around the world. In most countries most people will say they believe in god, but not in Israel. I remember seeing a 'before' and 'after' photo of Rachel Corrie posted here on 4um. She was a young American woman who in 2003 travelled to Israel to protest against some things the Israelis do against the Palestinians. She stood in front of a bulldozer with a megaphone and told the Israelis not to run over someone's house. and then they ran her over before they ran over the house. I saw the photos of her standing before the bulldozer with a megaphone, and then the photo of her after they ran her over. That was cold-blooded murder. they could've easily picked her up and removed her before running over the house. but they chose to kill her. this incident is just one of many many examples of what the Israelis actually do. no real christian can condone this. the Israelis kill many many times as many non-Israelis as non-Israelis kill of Israel. look at the recent war that Israel started. The oppression of the palestinians is constant, it happens every day, they are extremely oppressed. The Israelis are not proceeding in such a manner as to achieve peace. Their tactics are inconsistent with peace. You should look at what the Israelis actually do, not what the tv says. You must do research to see this. Even today the Israelis kill 3-4 Palestinians each day. In many of these cases the Israelis are behaving as brutal murderers. It is very well documented what I say.
