And the evangelicals know that, and they're beginning to learn that their own leaders sort of look askance at them and don't share their values. MATTHEWS: So this gay marriage issue and other issues related to the gay lifestyle are simply tools to get elected? CARLSON: That's exactly right. It's pandering to the base in the most cynical way, and the base is beginning to figure it out

Are they duped? If I were a rapture nutting evangelical heretic I would be pretty happy with Leader Bush. He has layed the groundwork for enacting their agenda on a nationwide scale- which is basically big government "Christian" socialism and has launched murderous wars on behalf of Israel and killed a lot of moslems bringing their day of rapture closer. The thing you have to realize about rapture nutters is that they are not for small government, not for the constitution. They want an all powerful central government that enforces their morality on the nation. They worship military power. Their is nothing about FDR's Mega State that they want to see eliminated. All they want is to see the power of the Federal government under the guidance of THEIR kind with their brand of morality forced on everyone else. They want a religious state- a theocracy. They have little if any use for capitalism or free markets. What they want is basically a fascist state that espouses their views and enshrines their morality in law. They don't believe in states rights. They don't believe in local government. They want a President that is for all intent and purpose a dictator- a king. And they of course adore the military and wish to see it as their religiouis army. Their is nothing "conservative" about these people. They have a vision for this country and it is totalitarian. They want a police state. They crave it.
The Bible explains that people will be taken to Heaven without dying in the end days. How is believing what the Bible says being a heretic? President Bush is doing all he can to stop the Islamic terror and if you buy into the evil of killing people to keep President Bush from rebuilding a country torn apart by decades of having an evil leader, you are giving aid and comfort to out ememies. We have to keep the Democrats from stealing our country from us, and keep the Iraq people safe from dictators like Saddam.
I certainly think it is good to take the bible seriously. The 'rapture' enthusiasts want to focus on a very few verses and blow them out of proportion IMHO. I do not believe that people who take the bible seriously can support Bush. Unless they are horribly deceived. and you know what hte bible says about deception. it says the evil ones will employ great deception very successfully in the end-times. Did you know that the US began to support Saddam Hussein in the mid-1950's when Saddam was 18 years old? It is true. he had committed several murders of a political nature, but he was unsuccessful at bringing his political clique to power in Iraq, he was a wanted man and his time was short as the authorities were going to arrest him and kill him, and the US CIA took him in and sheltered him in Egypt all through his 20's. He never had a job during his 20's. He was supported by the US taxpayers instead. In his early 30's he was brought back to Iraq and in a CIA-supported coup his clique came to power, but Saddam was not made the top leader at that time. Then a few years later in 1978 he was elevated to being the top leader - president. Then the US began to really deal with Saddam. The US gave his regime 40 billion dollars worth of cash and goods during the 1980's. It started with the US paying him billions of dollars worth of grain to start a war with Iran. There were one million people that died in that war. It included the use of chemical weapons by both sides. Saddam got his chemical weapons from the US. No christian can support this. Look at how many people die due to the wars that the US started. It is over 100 people per day every day. These people did not attack us. Our government and those who support our government attacked them instead. The bible instructs us not to worship other gods, and it specifically tells us not to worship Molech. But Bush and his clan are known to go to california each year and participate in human sacrifice ceremonies where Molech is worshiped. And I'm not making this up, the ceremony has actually been filmed and audio recorded. The people behind that ceremony openly admit they do it even. I read about it in the Wall Street Journal in 1979. It is very well documented that what I'm telling you is true. The bible says that god will descend to earth and build his kingdom here on earth at conclusion of the end-times. There is much prophecy in the bible that if you take it seriously leads you to see that Bush and his clan are very evil. They're on the wrong side. If you mean what you said in your post, then you are being deceived in a huge way. Does the bible say that we should tax the poor at a higher rate of their income than the rich must pay of their income? No, it does not. and it says we should be very concerned about the poor and go out of our way to make sure things are OK for them. But Bush and the Republicans just 6 months ago lowered the top tax rate for the richest Americans down to 15%. This is known as the 'investment income' tax rate. This is a new innovation that only serves to lower the tax rate on the richest people. But the poorest people must pay the payroll tax, and that is at 16% currently. The poorest pay higher than the richest. And bush is on record as saying he wants the payroll tax raised to 21%. Christians cannot support this type of a regime. You are deceived about the islamic terror if you really mean what you say. The big terrorist events in our time are frauds. They are not as our media and government has said they were. This has been proven. tv is not reality. reality is not tv. If you believe that it is, then you are practicing idolatry. There is great deception on tv and in the media. Babylon is here. You should read the bible prophecy about babylon in the end-times. That is a dominant theme of the bible, just as the jesus themes are dominant, the end-times babylon themes are also just that dominant. But the rapture verses are relatively obscure and open to interpretation. Why do the 'christians' ignore the babylon prophecies. I suggest it is because as jesus said during the end times there would be a false or 'fallen-away' church. If you believe that today we are in end-times, then you should be looking for babylon, and you should be looking for the fallen-away church. because bible says those things will be here in the end-times.
