Imagine if 5,000 leading American personalities signed a similiar letter calling for the banning of groups such as the criminal organization known as the ADL. Russians still consider themselves masters of their own house-JC

Russian chess master believes in Russia

Boris Spassky, the former chess world champion, has caused uproar in Russia by signing a petition that demands the country's state prosecutor bans a number of Jewish organisations.

Spassky was among 5,000 Russians who put their name to a letter calling for a ban on all religious and national groups acting on the principles of the Shulchan Aruch, a repository of Jewish law originally written in the 1560s.

And then there's that other Chess Champion, Bobby Fischer:
On Friday, he again declared himself an unrepentant enemy of the "hypocritical and corrupt" United States, which he claims organized his judicial kidnapping.

"They decided Fischer had to go to prison. He had to be destroyed ... they decided to cook up whatever charges they cooked up," he told reporters.

Fischer, whose mother was Jewish, accused "the Jew-controlled U.S. government" of ruining his life.

The match between Bobby and Boris stands out as one of the greatest chess matches of modern times.
I think it is interesting how much freer they seem to be in the new Russia than we are here at home. Now that is rather frightening, frankly.

Logical conclusions are difficult for either to ignore.
