I believe there is a special place in Hell reserved for people like Dobson that defend 52 year old men pursuing minor boys for sex. Not to mention all those elderly ladies living on social security he has ripped off by telling them to send their money to the Lord but giving them James Dobson's address.
I was thoroughly disgusted when I read that quote. I'm still waiting to hear what he thinks of the bombing in Lebanon over the summer, the ongoing torture, the new law making torture legal, the plight of the Palestinians, etc. I once respected Dobson and Falwell; not anymore. Dobson and Falwell were outraged by Teletubbies and Sponge Bob Square Pants cartoons as being secretly homosexual brainwashing, but Foley's explicit IMs to a 16 year old are not?!?!?!

Why do I get the feeling that Dobson probably has a thing for boys as well? Might have something to do with this creepy excerpt from his missive on homosexuals: "First I'm gonna bother everybody I meet, and then I'll probably go home and get drunk."
Close friend of Bill Kristol and PNAC co-founder Gary Bauer was shilling for Republicans on local talk radio here in East Tennexico this morning. The message was basically "Jesus wants you to vote Republican to save the country". The 'Christians' around here lap that garbage up the way a kitten consumes cream. There is NO EXCUSE for this level of stupidity coming from people that claim Christ as Savior.
I remember Falwell commenting once that "he believed that Jesus was ACTUALLY crucified on a Wednesday (an opinion I share), but he continued to preach and observe Good Friday because he didn't want to upset the apple cart". Didn't care to share his beliefs with his fellow Christians? That was it for me...
Clearly Dobson is not playing with a full deck. I think I have heard him on the radio twice. During one spot Dobson was discussing how a paraplegic confined to a wheel chair was disheartened with his condition. Dobson's response was that the paraplegic should get over it and accept it like a man and stop whining about it.
Lately it seems to be a prerequisite to have a position of influence in the Republican Party. It appears the information documented in the 'Conspiracy of Silence' was just the tip of the iceberg.
