By Il Divo, yes? No Italians in this group.

"The well-established formation of Il Divo comprises a renowned Spanish opera and zarzuela baritone, Carlos Marín, two classically trained tenors, Swiss Urs Bühler and American David Miller, and a French pop singer, Sébastien Izambard."

I stand corrected. Origianally I thought they were Argentineans, then Italians, then some would say the best voices extent. I couldn't argue that point.

Was clear that these vocalists had classical training.

Thanks scrappper for the correction, and information. Makes me want to out and sign up for opera class tomorrow.

I really like their music as well. Did you know that Il Divo was doing a US concert tour in October and November? I'm not sure if any decent tickets are still available. Il Divo is doing the concert with Barbra Streisand ( groan - showboat)but if you can tolerate Barbra, you'd get to enjoy Il Divo perform in person!

See calendar link.

I am glad you liked it . Posted it a few weeks ago, but I didn't think it got the response it deserved.

The first time I heard this beautiful song was when I was traveling in Mexico. I fell in love with it at the marcardos, where thet play everything, but never could figure out where it was comming from.

Beautiful.. They were wonderful.. I'm going to see what I can find on CD.. recommendations are welcome.

If you have the chance, look up Strunz & Farah (Bola).. It's a fabulous CD!!! I play it at Christmas each year.. Also Ottmar Liebert is fun.. (August Moon).. not to the level of perfection of pure Spanish flamenco.. IMO>> however, I can not judge, as I do not play.. but it is still quite fun.. (I have a lot of flamenco guitar in the collection, but like to pop in some pop from time to time)

Lastly... A little Chris Spheeris... fun.. (Greek) as is Armik.. Gypsy Flame..

Just fun stuff.. Especially nice at dinner time.

(not pan flute.. '))
