YouTube Adds “Hate Speech” Flag To Its Videos

Posted by Noel Sheppard on October 20, 2006 - 11:33.

Just in time for the holidays, the gang over at YouTube has added a new flag to their videos to assist their “community” in determining “inappropriate” content. Our friend at Ms Underestimated has created the following capture of the new screen being put into effect:

Frankly, this is every liberal YouTuber’s dream: the ability to flag a video as inappropriate due to it containing “Hate Speech”. After all, what we have seen from Google and YouTube lately quite suggests that hate speech is anything that speaks out against terrorism. As such, now if some conservative blogger wants to upload a video showing terrorist activities here or abroad, liberal bloggers, George Soros, or the marvelous folks at CAIR can enlist enough of their devotees to flag it as hate speech, and it can therefore be banned or come with a warning of inappropriate content.

Isn’t that special? (1 image)

Google's first initiative after buying YouTube?

And with Murdoch owning MySpace now, to where does freedom turn?

That's what I figure. Well, when everyone becomes a whore (hey, YouTube Guys!!!!!), they all answer to a pimp.

Frankly, this is every liberal YouTuber’s dream:

It's every STATIST's dream, and lately that's been so-called "conservatives", chief. And as for "hate speech", it won't just be flagging stuff, it'll be dropping stuff, and pretty damn soon. Any anti-Israel stuff, any anti-police state stuff will be shown the door.

the law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, beg in the streets and steal bread.

I wish they would just index all "hate speech" into one box so I could access it immediately !

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

I already know how to make this thing moot. If one of the people on this board can't figure it out in the next ten posts, I'll be very disappointed in the group.
