"In the first place, it is to be remembered, that the general government is not to be charged with the whole power of making and administering laws: its jurisdiction is limited to certain enumerated objects, which concern all the members of the republic, but which are not to be attained by the separate provisions of any." James Madison, Federalist No. 14, November 30, 1787, 4th President of these united States of America and "Father of the Constitution"

With the pretend election getting close, the old worn out chant from female politicians about "women's issues" once again dominates their campaigns, web sites and commercials. Out comes the same toxic rhetoric about "empowering women" and "our democracy." The feminization of Congress and our state legislatures is destroying constitutional government, running America into oceans of unpayable debt and breeding generations of helpless women, whining for mother government to take care of them and their every need. The U.S. Constitution, specifically Article 1, Section 8, succinctly enumerates the only areas where Congress can legislate. There are no "women's issues" in that section of the Constitution. That eliminates education, altering the Second Amendment, after school programs, studies for breast feeding, child care and a thousand other areas where women in elected office have been unconstitutionally introducing and passing bills for decades. No doubt this will bring a collective gasp from influential women like Oprah, First Lady of California, Maria Shriver Schwarzenegger and others. However, these so called "women's role models" are extremely wealthy and do not live in the same economic world as all the average, ordinary women out there struggling to make ends meet who are being manipulated into believing they are somehow entitled to certain goods or services NOT authorized by the U.S. Constitution.

Should women serve in Congress and state legislatures? Yes, but ONLY if they have a full education on the historical founding of this republic, the Constitution and the restrictions it places on them as lawmakers. They also need to leave their hormones and maternal instincts at home. There isn't a single female member of Congress who doesn't daily violate her oath of office because she has no concept or understanding of constitutional government. They legislate for "the sisterhood." Nancy Levant recently wrote a superb column on the facilitators of this warped thought process: "At the very top of my list of despicable leadership is the political feminist lobbying groups and organizations. Their use of dialectic manipulations of American women is diabolical. They polluted the very essence of liberation for women. For women to be liberated by feminism, they have to agree with all aspects and agendas of feminist doctrine and missions. If you disagree with them, you are believed to be flawed and damaged, ignorant, and enslaved."

Let me give you just one example of a woman in Congress who wouldn't know the U.S. Constitution if it were read to her line by line: Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y. Tragically, in 1993, her husband and son were shot on a commuter train by someone with a gun who went over the edge. Her husband died. Of course this is a terrible, terrible thing to happen in anyone's life. However, McCarthy then ran for Congress on an anti-Second Amendment platform. Since her election (she's in her fifth term), McCarthy has used her personal tragedy to continue her assault on my Second Amendment rights. Not only is she in violation of the law (see here), she is a foolish biddy out to cripple women in their ability to be free and independent.

Other examples are women who have come from a disadvantaged background who get up in front of struggling women voters and promise all those "soccer moms" and the poor that mother government will look after their needs. These women then get elected, and the first thing they do is play mommy by introducing legislation that is unconstitutional and breeds women into dependence upon "mother government." Gus Hall, long time head of the Communist Party USA, said back in a 1996 interview with the Cleveland Plain-Dealer: "Socialism in America will come through the ballot box." He was right, and the feminization of American politics has hastened the process and it will continue unless the women of this country recognize the trap and vote out every female in Congress next month - especially Marxist Hillary Clinton.

Women getting elected by promising to legislate "women's issues" has been a disaster both from an economic standpoint and socially destructive. By promising all these married and single working mothers everything from free child care, after-school programs, free medical and HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars in social welfare programs, these hormone-driven legislators are breeding generations of women who are not being "empowered"; they are being turned into whining, gimmee-gimmee females, helpless in taking care of themselves, never mind the children they are birthing. Each time I write these words, I get tons of e-mail from women who give me their life story of hardship and how they wouldn't have made it except for government hand outs. Well, life is tough, no doubt about it, but it's really about life's choices and bad choices by an individual and no matter how painful they might be to deal with, it still does not not justify violating the supreme law of the land. These mothers and grandmothers are coming into public office and allowing their hormones and backgrounds to influence them into introducing and voting for unlawful legislation, and the gutless men in Congress are letting them get away with it because they also want the "women's vote" in November. Instead of standing strong and for the law of the land, these sissy men stand up at women's groups and promise to break the law for their vote.

It makes me puke to watch all these "empowered" women gush about "our democracy" while knowing nothing about our legal form of government or how it's supposed to operate. Decades ago, Ezra Taft Benson wrote an outstanding booklet titled "The Proper Role of Government." It's most unfortunate the last generation of America's school children have never had any exposure to this scholarly writing, but the schools are making sure your child is getting a massive dose of indoctrination into the world of sexual deviancy (sodomite and lesbian propaganda). As for a real "empowered woman," that perfectly describes a friend of mine. While Teri can shoot better than me (which I don't hold against her), is a martial arts expert while still being feminine and attractive, she would never ask you to pay for her obligations in life via unconstitutional legislation. In other words, Teri is truly empowered because she is the master of her own destiny. "Empowering women" is a stupid term that does just the opposite. I see these feminists and dependent women all the time in my travels. They radiate hatred for men and at the same time, hate themselves as women. They work real hard at trying to change Mother Nature, and it's been a dismal failure. Life is a tough road, no doubt about it. But, feminizing government is a failed disaster and has done nothing except promote laziness and dependency in women who look up to these female lawbreakers.

One fact that Marxists like Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feinstein neglect to tell the women of this country is that all these unconstitutional give a-ways they promote and vote for aren't free. (Lest people forget, Karl Marx was a communist.) These "empowered women" are actually burying their own children and grand babies into a live of indentured servitude. Did Oprah or Rosie tell you there is NO money in the U.S. Treasury and that all these unlawful expenditures have to be borrowed? Of course not. Did these role models ever take the time to explain to these fledgling "empowered women" that all those taxes they pay for unconstitutional "social programs" actually go towards enriching foreign dictators, funding political parties in foreign countries and providing free dental work for people in foreign countries - all against the law of the land? Of course not. Telling women the facts would take away their power over these women. The truth is the duped women in this country who enrich the coffers of these so called role models who know nothing about our constitutional republic are being led down the merry path of slavery dressed up as "women's issues." Women who listen to all this drivel need to take the time to understand that it is actually Congress and their state legislatures that have paved the way for their ever deepending financial straits in more and more taxation. I will also add the viciousness of the feminist movement has been killing this republic for decades; Carey Roberts always defines it so well in his columns.

Every woman currently serving in the U.S. Congress needs to be thrown out of office in 2006 because they are all, without exception, guilty of violating their oath of office. Save the nasty-mail, please. My next column will be on voting out the sissy men in Congress. Women in this country need to take a hard look at their own behavior and choices in life before asking for someone else to fund their mistakes. I know this is a complete juxtaposition of the toxic message that has been pounded into women's heads for decades, but it is the raw truth. Women who think government is there to provide for their needs and replace a husband are only enslaving themselves and their children, and are binding themselves to a lifetime of debt and a slave mentality instead of being independent and self-reliant.

No more than Ann Coulter, Hillary Clinton or any other shrillbot propagandist. Takes no guts to bang away on a keyboard, and it takes no brains to say "every woman in congress violates her oath of office" and blah blah blah. The "feminization of America" is just a silly thing to get worked up about. Like there's anything feminine about attacking another country for no reason, setting up secret prisons, torturing people, systematically destroying our checks and balances, getting rid of habeas corpus and on and on.

The biggest threat to our constitution is staring us right in the face, and it has nothing to do with women at all.

Quit guessin ! Devvy Kidd has recently become a Lady Texan, not through a sex change but a geographic move. She lived in California when I did, and I feel fortunate to say that I had the pleasure of meeting her.

She was the driving force for Prop 187 and exposed the massive amounts of arbitrage being funded unwittingly by the California Taxpayers.

She is a great lady.

This is a great example of the anti-female propaganda which along with the ubiquitous porn is turning many men into women-haters.

It's just another part of the divide and conquer plan, though I don't think this progaganda project of the neocon's will work as well in the long run as the attempt to get races to hate each other for instance, as men vs. women goes too much against human nature.

Devvy Kidd is married, and very well instructed relative to the Constitutional mandates and restraints on fed government.

I think she's for "real" family values and walks the walk.

I would agree that her comments regarding the feminization of congress applies to males and females.

For one thing she complains about the women who are feminists, those who started trying to ruin male/female relationships during the 60s. Then she goes on to put down women who are "dependant", so in other words, women can't win. She also uses too many derogatory terms.

Look for thousands of years there has been a pattern all over the world, where men take on a woman, the woman gives birth to his kids and they work together (with different roles) to be sure their offspring grow up to survive and continue to carry on their genes.

I believe men and women are different but compatible, and equally important in their roles. Such writers as this woman, and a few others I've encountered, go out of their way to slam women which I find peculiar. It's too easy for people to get sucked into that kind of stuff, and then they end up feeling disgusted with the female sex. I wonder too if part of the reason for this is to make it more acceptable for women to enter the armed forces and engage in combat, something I find truly offensive.

A society is much healthier when men and women accept their natural roles and everyone is happier as a result, including children. Children need their parents, both of them.

This is a great example of the anti-female propaganda which along with the ubiquitous porn is turning many men into women-haters.

It's just another part of the divide and conquer plan,

I will have to agree with you. The feminist movement has destroyed the family and been used as a tool by the Statists/Fascists to divide and cause men to despise women. Although I recognize that not all women are like this, the strategy, unfortunately, has been successful and many women have voluntarily participated in their own resulting misfortune and broken families and lives. I think it terribly sad.

You're right that the NWO plan to pit races against one another and to import the cannon fodder for racial war in the form of millions of anchor babies and illegals, is going to be more effective. But an animosity between the sexes has developed just as the Communist Plan which escalated the divide has been fully implemented. It's much easier to see it looking back from 49 years experience than it would be for someone much younger. It do see the feminists radiating hatred, with their manish haircuts and their pure hatred for anything resembling a normal family and who enjoy emasculating their men verbally if, God forbid, a man gets married to one of these monsters.

Generation X, the generation of partying and rape and brutality is lost. [TV today is aimed directly at them.] I believe those children still in elementary and high school may be our only hope to turn this thing around. I'm doing my part as a parent to raise mine with proper social attitudes towards women. It helps that they're in a Christian private school. In two public schools here in recent weeks, football players, cheerleaders and others were suspended for drunken rape parties. Such is what government control over education has given us. And as an aside, I am completely against the RepubliRAT idea of School Vouchers because they would bring the lowest life forms into the private schools and destroy them. They're just another form of socialist control in an attempt to bring everyone DOWN to the lowest common denominator, not up, as the Newspeak PoliticoWhores would have you believe.

Someone ought send this column to Goldi-Lox, the Constitutionalist.

That someone needs to be someone other than me. I do not have an account there. One political forum takes enough of my time as it is.

With regards to the article under discussion, I glanced through the text, and all I can say about it is that Devvy uses bombastic writing style to state what has been said better by others including Phyllis Schlafly. Femininazis represent a special interests group and are negative to the well being of society as a whole as are other speacial interest philosophies/lobbies.

I agree with a good deal of what Devvy says actually. Feminism is a movement that preaches equality with gov't supported double standards to women's benefit. For example, women want to be competitive in college and in the job market but they also want affirmative action to continue for the next 25 years although AA quotas bear no relation to merit. Another example is the military - if women want to be hired in equal numbers and be paid equal to men and be promoted at the same rate as men, then they should take equal RISKS on the battle field. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Yet you hear feminist big yap squawkers like Elaine Donnelly ( with 2 daughters) whining that females are put in danger by serving in Iraq. Duh - did these women accept their salaries and promotions in the military thinking only men would face danger for the same wage and that only men might die as soldiers? It's not like women are sitting by the home fires raising children anymore, so why should their lives be viewed as more valuable to society than men's?

Regardless of what the Supreme Court said, AA is not constitutionally sound and in fact, AA is anti-equality. That was mush head social engineering from the bench. In Schafly's book Feminist Fantasies she makes some pertinent points which are supportive of Devvy's article:

http://www.eaglef >http://orum.org/psr/200 2/dec02/psrdec02.shtml

"...The feminists' goal is to eradicate from our culture everything that is masculine and remake us into a gender-neutral society. We see their handiwork in textbook revision and in the constant haranguing by the language gestapo to force us to use such gender-neutral idiocies as he/she. We see this in the war on boys through abolishing recess, overprescribing Ritalin, and the zero tolerance policies that forbid them to play cops and robbers. We see this in the sex integration of Virginia Military Institute and the Citadel, which was a battle not for sex equality but to eliminate macho men. We see this in the implementation of Title IX, which is used not to give women equal opportunity in colleges but as a vehicle to abolish wrestling teams and other sports in which men outperform women.

The feminists showcased their goal in the New York Times Sunday Style section on November 3, 2002. The headline was "She's Got to Be a Macho Girl," and the subtitle was: "In a role reversal, teenage girls are the aggressors when it comes to boys." The article boasted about "the trickle-down effects of feminism" which have taught teenage girls to initiate sex "in a more aggressive manner." One high school senior pontificated: "No one is a stay-at-home mom anymore. Women don't have to wear skirts. We are empowered and we can do whatever we want." ..."

As Devvy points out, if female legislators think they are constitutionally bound to look out for sisterhood and female directed programs, they are unfit to serve in office because they are unschooled in what the constitution spells out re: federal government duties and individual rights. These legislators would be more honest if they took a salaried position with a women's rights lobby group.

I love Devvy Kidd. I've read her articles for a long, long time. If Americans even had 1/16th of her understanding we could take back the country. What a patriot she is. I wish every American woman could have this article shoved before their eyes. If American women could understand they are truly destroying their future, but especially the future of their children and grandchildren, etc., not to mention the facilitation of the collapse of the Republic. After the fall of the Republic, history will look kindly on her writings and research, if there be any honesty left with the historians writings of that time in the future. God bless Devvy Kidd.

I don't see this problem as being the fault of American women, I see it as the results of social engineering which has taken place for some decades now. I don't think single mothers (and we have way too many) enjoy working themselves to death, often working 2 jobs, having to pay for daycare for their children, with no father around to help raise his children. The men have been told it's okey to fertilize the females and then when one becomes pregnant, they run off to move on to the next one, while the women are left with children to raise too often on their own. And most of those feminists who have promoted a lot of this are lesbians, that's why it's easy for them to say women don't need men in their lives.

I blame those who are out to destroy this country with their attempts to destroy all natural human bonds, not men or women.
