President Bush’s Iowa Approval Rating Hits All Time Low

April 18, 2005, 2:12:15 AM
Monday

President Bush now has the lowest approval rating in Iowa since he took office.

A new poll in the Des Moines Register shows only 42 percent of Iowans approve of the president's performance, the federal budget and social security reform are two of the main reasons so many Iowans aren't happy with the job he's doing.

This new poll shows the president's approval rating in Iowa has dropped to nearly half of what it was after the September Eleventh attacks.

I think we should start planning a some festivities for when Bush's approval rating sinks below 40%. We could put ribbons and fireworks on the site and have a special thread where everyone could take a swipe at the lying draft dodger. Anybody else have any ideas?

I have some ideas, but they're all trashed when I remember he was just re-selected...

I wish the sheeple weren't so dumb that it takes 5 years to smell the shit and bring out the Lysol.

One can only hope they'll be able to put 2 + 2 together & come-up with the right solution...that is dump the cancerous DemoRAT/GOPher puss and start building REAL third party alternatives to reclaim the District of Criminals back from the moneyed elite.

Then & only then will it be time to party...I'd be first in-line to stuff a firework up some traitors ass & light the fuse!

Bump to fun plan. (hopefully ideas will flow later)

We'll find out just how much they have learned next year when we see if more like him get elected.

I would settle for SECOND party.

2 party politics.

1 + 1 + 1 = 2

Every member of US House of Representatives could be replaced every two years, but they aren't. I know it sounds defeatist, but I don't know any way I can change that.

On another thread I suggested that the pretzel start blinking when the approval rate falls below 40%. This is easy to do with a little java script. Maybe I'll gin up a routine this weekend.

I don't normally follow polls, but this one is hard to miss.

Watch Army recruiting bust by 33% this month and next and next and so on.

Finally, the sheeple are getting the message: "We've been lying to you all along."

It's the perfect scam, highest voter turnout is among wild-eyed fanatics preaching the next final solution, while anyone who gives a damn is automatically discouraged from doing so, judging from the stench of raw invective employed by those who hate those of us who still actually give a damn.

The gay marriage issue on the ballot brought them all out in droves last year, wonder what the red meat will be next year.

On that thought, off to bed. That will be enough to keep me tossing and turning half the night.

That's another indicator of how popular Smirk's policies are.

I used to, but I've been sober since 11/02/85.

I also understand what the reality of a white-knuckle ex-drunk/cokehead like Dumya is - A meglomaniac that's replaced booze & drugs with money & power...

How in the world did the USA ever get stupid enough to put a meglomaniac in the White House?

Oops, that's right - We've had a long string of tyrants over the last 70 years, haven't we? ;-)

Bush Says He Is Just Starting On Social Security Debate

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- "After visiting 22 states to make his case for Social Security reform, President George W. Bush said Monday he was just getting started."

"I'm just warming up," Bush said in Columbia, S.C.

"Matter of fact, I like getting out of Washington, D.C....I like coming to places like South Carolina to put the facts on the table so the people can make their own mind about what's happening in Social Security," he said.

Hey!

If Bush's poll numbers just took another nose dive, arn't we due for another Terror alert?

The Moonie Times is running a story today that says Zawaqawi has an atomic bomb - this in addition to Zawaqawi being able to grow a new leg and rise from the dead. Scary stuff, but maybe not enough to stop people from reading about the economy.

Bush needs another orange terror alert to pull up his poll numbers! The pope deal is finished, it isn't going to keep Bush's failures off the front page anymore.
