I didn't know they were having a storm! I wonder how Abbeville is doing, I don't even know if it still exists. I haven't talked to my friend who is from there recently and she moved to Lafayette some years ago.

Abbeville is doing just fine, unless it was flooded yesterday. A flood is not going to cause Abbieville too much concern, as you know.

I was there this spring, and the hurricanes did not damage the area tooo much at all.. The oyster houses were open, everything looked OK .

Other areas took the hit, Abbie is unscathed.
