OKLAHOMA CITY -- A state Department of Human Services worker says he was punished for trying to report illegal immigrants who were applying for state benefits. Steve Thomas told the House Revenue and Taxation Committee he tried to follow a rule requiring memos be written to DHS superiors when they come across an applicant who's an illegal immigrant.

Thomas says he was taken before DHS' civil rights office and accused of threatening illegal immigrants. His testimony came at the request of Representative Randy Terrill who wants the committee to study illegal immigration in Oklahoma.

But Oklahoma Catholic Charities attorney Shirley Cox says Thomas sounds like a disgruntled employee. Cox says the issue should be addressed at the federal -- not state -- level.

Shirley Cox-ucker sounds like the typical lawyer and intent upon denying States Rights at all costs.

Anyone applying for "benefits" in this country should be required to provide AT LEAST five years' tax returns.

For starters.

How many benefits do we really need? Even for citizens?

Catholic Charities

No shock that they are making noises. This is the same group that is flooding Alaska with Russians and gives them lists of what free stuff they qualify for when they step off the plane*. When I left the Russians were started to form the organized crime groups that Americans wouldn't form.

*$15,000 a head the moment they hit US soil for starters.

I can see why that hasn't been on the evening news.

I haven't heard about that, though that doesn't mean it's not happening.

I know they imported a bunch of Samoans, and there are now problems with Somoan gangs in Anchorage. If Russian mob types are moving into Anchorage that is sad indeed.

I do know there have been a few immigrants from former USSR countries such as Moldovia who have moved there, I once took a cab in Anchorage and the cab driver was woman from there. She said the ethnic group from there had taken back it's power and discriminated against ethnic Russians, so many of them are fleeing. That was about 5 years ago.

Some years ago I read of fighting in LA between Vietnamese and the Hmong gangs, at the time I didn't even know who or what the Hmong were.

In Wisconsin a Hmong murdered 6 deer hunters in cold blood, shooting them in the back as they ran (men and women).

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/11/30/national/main658296.shtml (AP) The man accused of gunning down eight fellow deer hunters in the Wisconsin woods was charged Monday with six counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Chai Vang, 36, of St. Paul, Minn., could get life in prison if convicted in the shootings, which left six people dead and two wounded. Wisconsin does not have a death penalty.

A hunter approached and told Vang he was on private property, and Vang started to leave as other hunters approached, the statement said. Vang said the hunters surrounded him and some called him racial slurs.

The dead were identified as the landowner, Robert Crotteau, 42; his son Joey, 20; Al Laski, 43; Mark Roidt, 28; Jessica Willers, 27; and Denny Drew, 55,

And this was possibly not the first incident.

He got life, 6 counts of 1st degree murder. Why do they think they can dump different cultures all over the U.S.?

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE NEWS COVERAGE IF ONE AMERICAN HAD MURDERED "IN COLD BLOOD 6 IMMIGRANTS?

Catholic Charities flew Somali refugees by the plane load to different U.S. cities so they were not detected ad they spread crime and welfare abuse throughout the United States.

If they'd get out of my back pocket, I'd be most happy with ZERO "benefits."

I remember that incident, also is wasn't on the mainstream news very long, I got the impression they wanted to sweep it under the rug. It certainly did not get the publicity the James Byrd murder got.
