Haggard's "Muscle Stud:" The Ads That Lured Bush's Spiritual Advisor...

November 4, 2006 07:00 PM

The gay prostitute at the center of the scandal over Evangelican leader Rev. Ted Haggard appears here in an ad promoting his services.

According to the escort, Mike Jones, Haggard originally found Jones using the site http://rentboy.com.

More pictures can be seen here, on his personal website, which boasts, "I offer a deep tissue and swedish style massage with the pleasure of the man in mind. If you like a strong muscle man to bring pleasure to you then please call me." The personal site also lists Jones' rates at:

"In calls at my place in Capitol Hill of Denver: $70.00 per hour $90.00 1 1/2 hrs.
Out calls start at $100.00."

Ad clip from towleroad.

I had to pop over to Freakerville for this one. The thread yesterday saying the council had fired him was only posted in "Breaking news" before being removed from that category- and the thread is hilarious. At one point a freaker follower of this clown said "this has been a very bad past few days for me." LOL.

Post a link. Save us from getting dirtied up wading through their stuff to find it.

I saw it. but I didn't click on the links.

there is an invisible empire of evil in this world.

I tend to think this gigilo outted him as he was instructed. They put haggard in his prominent position, and then they pulled him down as he failed to perform by endorsing the Israeli war last summer.

makes me think that Foley was outted for not supporting CAFTA.

poor Haggard - the only way he can recover and purge these demons that trouble him is to reject some of the ideology/theology that he himself believed in and promoted. He's likely to let the demons win.

Sorry - It was last night sometime. Read the early threads on this- Freakers are calling the media "biased" for calling Haggard a Republican! Some even claim he is an Al Gore Liberal. LOL.

from wiki__:

"Politics

Haggard is a firm supporter of President George W. Bush, and is often credited with rallying evangelicals behind Bush during the 2004 election.[10] Author Jeff Sharlet reports that Haggard "talks to . . . Bush or his advisers every Monday" and opines that "no pastor in America holds more sway over the political direction of evangelicalism."[11] However, White House spokesman Tony Fratto has said that Haggard was part of the weekly calls between evangelical leaders and the White House only "a couple" of times.[12]

In a June 2005 Wall Street Journal article, "Ted Haggard, the head of the 30-million strong National Association of Evangelicals, jokes that the only disagreement between himself and the leader of the Western world is automotive: Mr. Bush drives a Ford pickup, whereas he prefers a Chevy."[13]"
