I did my part in early voting, however, the total ignorance of the electorate will keep the blowdried bastard baboon Senor Perry in the office. He is a disgrace to that office I might add. Looks like his Trans Texas Corridor is going to meet some resistance. And I don't mean political. Get ready for a little "civil unrest" you treasonous bastard. We will not go quietly into the night. Are you ready for some football!!!?
Our hope lies with the college kids and the rural folks who understand about the TTC, and the rest of us who are just pissed-off at the status quo - the illegals, the taxes, the failed schools, the non-existent healthcare (except for the illegals), and the constant b.s. coming out of Austin.

As much hope as I have for Kinky Friedman to win the election, I sincerely doubt it will happen unless it's by a landslide. There are too many connected people in Texas. Way too many old money types who own the state, and I'm not just talking about the land. The TTC will be the TNC after the Texas Leg is created. No matter how much resistance is put up, no matter how many people stand up, there's no chance of this thing not going through, and here's why. They need that road built to divide this country. LITERALLY. A nation divided cannot stand, and WILL not stand. I wish I was optimistic about Texans, because I know there are so many good people down there, it's unfortunate that they are clearly outnumbered by the type that think Treason is good so long as it makes them a profit.

I spoke on the phone with an insurance adjuster and a real estate guy earlier today, and asked them if they'd voted for Kinky yet - they both sounded surprised, but both said, "Yes! we voted for the Kinkster." If we have an honest count, we'll have an honest Governor.

Speaking with my CPA just now, I learned that he also voted for Kinky, and voted for NO pubs or dems - said that he was sick of things, and we needed to make some changes.
