Religion See other Religion Articles Title: The kingdom of God is simple. The kingdom of God is simple. (Please read the post on Persecution first. Thank you, Richard) Church or State Love God who is justice and mercy, forgiving and thanksgiving and love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. That is simple enough... But! How that is done is as complex as a drop of water or the universe depending on how close you look. I get two common complaints. One is that I keep talking about the fundamentals, the basics. The other is that I make things to complex. These complaints are relative to the observer ad what they want to hear at a given time. A house is a simple thing, walls and roof, doors and windows, but to build one you may need to know about materials, tools, structure, electrical, plumbing, pitch an much more. And you may need cooperation from people. People are simple and complex. The ancients are the same as the people now and tomorrow. History repeats itself. God is the same from beginning to end. The old and new testament are about the same God and universe. What is written in the past can be relative to tomorrow. If you understand the now the future and past become clear. A problem may arise because we do not want to know the truth, nor admit we might have been wrong or in error. There are others who do not want to see the truth or let anyone else see it, so they practice ambuscade and obfuscation through words. Those who see without words and love the truth as much as their own pride or life are willing to admit they have been fooled can see through that obfuscation. In fact they have to look at things with different, even straining eyes to see the obfuscation of others. I am always amazed that some cannot see what I see as obvious. But if I bend to look through their eyes I can see that obfuscation that has blocked their sight... and show them. I am not the source of truth but I can shed some light I may have on what they think they see. Ultimately each individual must learn to see clearly for themselves. Each of us must become anointed with the spirit of God but none of us should be the anointed for another. This is what is meant by Matthew 24:23: Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Each of you must find the Holy Spirit or rather be found by that spirit and let it into you. Some of you are called to do a work others are not called to do. Abraham, Moses and even Jesus had to come back and do the work they were called to do. Some do not think that the Church is separate from the state but as I said that may depend on their definitions of these words like Church, State and separation and/or remaining obfuscation that has blocked our view of truth for centuries. To me the evidence is overwhelming but you should not depend on evidence or what I see. I simply see it. I have to go back and get evidence to help pry the scales from peoples mind and eyes. To shed a little light on what they think they are looking at. In the beginning there was no state but only the free status of the individual man and his family. There was no need for more. There was no need for Abraham, Moses or Jesus but then man sinned. He went his own way. Cain, who went out of the presence of the Lord, created another thing called a city or city state. The people who entered that city state had a different state or status than those who remain free of such civil structures. Those structures allowed people to live out of the presence of the Lord God, but at a great price. I see state of mankind and the religion of mankind should be held in each man as free souls under God, altars of clay. They come together under the perfect law of God's liberty by faith, hope and charity. That is the whole of the kingdom of God with no separation of state and religion... Because some men do something different than what God has desired and create city states there may be a need for something different allowed by God. The world is not perfect and there may be a need for stone altars, and not just the free clay altars of God, which is as we have said everyman. The difference between these two kinds of altars are explained in the book Thy Kingdom Comes. http://www.hisholychurch.net/thykingdom/tkca.html There are precepts that must be considered when creating stone altars and many have dealt with those problems before. We should learn from God but there is a witness given by the forefathers of freedom and liberty. As I have tried to show the obfuscation of the language through sophistry, we have not understood that the stones were friends, they were living stones from the beginning, not dead rocks. A gathering of these stones is merely a gathering or of men. Stone altars were built in a separate place from where men lived. The stones were not to be hewn or regulated. The free will offerings that were given to these altars were burned up from the point of view of the people, given entirely. What was given to the altars was given to God. We are being told about structure of something that is separate from the state. Of course you still had your clay altars, your right to choose, your liberty, etc. unless you gave it to another in trust or contract. While a relation with the altars of Cain changed your status a relationship with the stone altars did not alter your status, they were separate and your rights and responsibilities under God did not change. Moses talked about these altars and he created a group called Levites because most of those who entered the group at first were Levites. This was the church in the wilderness. They were called out, they belonged to God, they were established outside away from the people although they worked amongst them, they received the offerings of the people, they governed themselves, they had their own "cities" or civil power, they owned all things in common, they were separate. This structure was the result of a precept that goes back to Abraham, and even to Enoch and Seth. Jesus also had His called out, His appointed, His Holy Church. They were not of the world, they were not of the organized system or constitutional order of men. They had no personal estate owning all things in common. They too were separate or as some say, they were holy [Again it depends on what you think this word means]. They were not better, more saved, nor did they have authority over men. They served a purpose that helped set men free. It was a job. It was the mission of the stone altars. It was a job with risk. The city state of the world finds that job a threat and so does the apostate church. Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and shall reproach [you], and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. The Church was those he called out, his little flock, those to whom he appointed "a" kingdom. There are numerous passages that make a distinction between the people and the Church. This does not make the Church the ruler of your conscience, the dictator of your faith. Its purpose like Christ is return every man to his family and to his possessions. It does this as a servant. The Church is not religion, it is a government, but unlike the governments of the gentiles, other nations, it does not exercise authority. It is to aid in returning men to the status of liberty. All governments have an aspect of religion. The Church may serve religion, it may serve the status of men but its purpose is to serve God. In fact it is "a" [not the] kingdom appointed by Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is a 'self-governing dominions or territory under mandate or trusteeship and should be regarded as a separate foreign state'. It is foreign to the people and to any state they may create because it is not created by the people. There are Churches that imitate these precepts but they actually deliver people into bondage by appointing kings and rulers over men. This is appropriate because they were created by a government that believed in the ways of Cain, Lemech and Babylon, to say nothing of Egypt and Rome. Even the protestant churches do this daily. I saw the creation of a state that has a central exercising authority as a rejection of God and then I discovered that Samuel said that God told him that same thing too. I was amazed the churches never teach this or make the connection with what Jesus said about not being like the governments of the gentiles. I see that if men are going to create a state like Jefferson did with the constitution they should do it according to the wisdom of God. I see that the constitution is fatally flawed. Later, I discovered in old writings that Moses saw those same exact tendencies and flaws many years ago and told men not to make a constitution that had those powers which were included in the US constitution. He told them to write it down. Still many church men did not see... Men who say they believe in the God of Moses and Abraham do not always realize that God pointed out these flaws years ago. This and many other things I try to share with people so they can think outside of the box men have made with sophistry and obfuscation.
