This is Norman at three months old. He was the runt of the litter, as you can tell, since that's my sister's hand. (1 image)

Wow - that's miniscule.

Get Norm some cheeseburgers quickly...and some shakes and fries.

He grew up to be all of 15 pounds.

Most of our kitties were larger than that.

Hope that Norm is still living large and having a ball.

A dog using a tool. Something they are actually not supposed to be able to do. Scientists were amazed to see chimps use grass and twigs to extract termites from mounds to eat them. But here is a dog skateboarding, a very complete set of behaviors successfully learned and integrated by this dog. e.g. steering, avoiding a crash, many nuances their brains are according to conventional science are far beyond dogs.

I am blown away.

Norman for all practical purposes has a brain the size of a BB. The first time he saw a lake he tried to walk on it, and had a look of complete shock on his face as in sat in water up to his neck. When I hauled him he turned right around and fell in again.

Well he was cute as a pup none the less. ;-)

(Even if Norman doesn't surf.)

omg that IS amazing.. it is one thing for a dog or animal to be trained for performance etc.. but this dog actually enjoys this.. and as you said.. what hes doing while hes skateboarding ..the steering etc.. is mind boggling..

Very cute puppy. Not hard to exercise him - a walk down the driveway and back and Norman would be tuckered out?
