DEMOCRACY IS A CHARADE CONSIDER THE CRAFTING OF OUR CONSTITUTION By: Al Cronkrite The lesser charade has been terminated, we have thrown many of the bums out and elected other bums with a different label. Soon, amid the grumbling that the replacement bums are not doing what they were elected to do, we can anticipate the next charade in 2008. This charade will involve two pre-selected, obedient puppet-bums either of which will consummate the fledgling North American Union (NAU) in spite of the groaning from the electorate. You can be sure that the puppet masters planned this change long before it occurred. I have written extensively against voting for the lesser of two evils and although my admonition was primarily directed toward the Presidential race I did not proscribe it. In this election I cast a ballot that included a vote for two candidates whose words and actions involved a considerable amount of evil. Knowing there was no choice, one of the recipients of my regular admonishing emails inquired how I voted and rebuked me for violating my own maxim. This scolding and feigned lack of understanding came from a person who several years ago was a solid patriot but made the unfortunate decision to become involved with the Republican Party and influenced other voters to support what has been one of the most heinous administrations in the history of the nation. Local politics and even congress is not as important but when there is a candidate on the national ballot that promises to extricate the United States from the tentacles of the One World Government (OWG) and return the nation to a more righteous repute and that candidate is ignored because of party loyalty or the pragmatic decision that the candidate cannot win, a sin has been committed against the tenets of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that requires repentance. A vote was willfully cast against a Godly candidate in favor of one who had the odor of a scoundrel. That aroma has surrounded the Bush family for more than one generation. When the ballots are so arranged that a righteous vote is impossible there are only two choices. One, refuse to cast a vote, and two, vote for the lesser of two evils. I choose option number two; I was wrong. In spite of a deistic flavor that wafted from some of our Founders, the Christian ethic still abounded in the new nation and voting was a privilege not a right. Until 1920 voting was restricted to male citizens. Earlier, because United States citizens understood that Democracy involved the chaos of human opinion and tyranny by the majority; they restricted voting rights to those who owned property or paid taxes. Even earlier in some colonies there were religious qualifications. In our time the privilege of voting has been discarded and voting has become a charade where the vote of the welfare recipient ahead of you in line paying for groceries with your tax dollars can elect the party that will extend the theft of your money canceling out your vote against it. Anyone who can obtain a drivers license can now vote and that, with the exception of convicted felons, includes almost everyone eighteen and over. The result of this folly is an electorate that is not only incapable of understanding righteous government but is easily manipulated by the propaganda developed by opprobrious political advisors who coach candidates to pronounce what the electorate wants to hear with no intent to consummate the promises. Gerrymandering has created geographical voting areas that give the incumbent an advantage in retaining his position making changes in congressional power like the current transfer from Republican to Democratic rare occurrences reserved for egregious malpractice. In considering the situation of contemporary voters in United States an interesting analogy can be made with the electorate in the thirteen colonies when the Constitution was written and ratified. One of the major reasons for wanting to bind the individual colonies together in something stronger then the Articles of Confederation was to facilitate commerce. A meeting in Annapolis, Maryland in 1786, a precursor to the Philadelphia meetings, was called primarily to discuss the problems with commerce among the individual states. Commerce is also prominent in the minds of the crafters of OWG. Interestingly, meetings concerning United States Constitution and meetings concerning NAU and OWG were and are held in secret. The citizens of the individual colonies had no more input into the planned consolidation of the independent states than our citizens have concerning the current plan to consolidate nations. The intent of the 1787 Convention in Philadelphia was announced as a modification to the Articles of Confederation but powerful individuals including James Madison and Alexander Hamilton had already decided to use this meeting to create a new government rather than to “fix” the one that already existed. This deception might be compared to the trade agreements passed by our congress that were not treated as part and parcel of OWG. The rugged individualism and lust for unencumbered freedom that characterized the American Founders was eclipsed by a Constitution supported by Hamiltonian Federalists and resisted by the likes of Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry. The power was held by Hamilton who aligned himself with bankers, landowners, merchants, and industrialists believing that those who owned the nation had a right to govern it. Now our world is faced with a similar situation. Powerful bankers, industrialists, and politicians in America and around the world are colluding in secret with government officials to form a OWG to facilitate peace and commerce without the consent of the people but at the expense of their wealth and freedom. The creation of the United States Constitution, and the creation of OWG are analogous in several respects. In every social order power is vested in the strong and the wealthy. Rich and powerful individuals succeeded in binding the original American States into a Union without the consent of the people under a Constitution crafted in secret. Western civilization is providing the impetus for OWG and is attempting to ensnare the remainder of the world through control of currencies, commerce and military action. Their efforts are well along but not completely finished. Competing non-Western international forces may still thwart their intentions. As for the general population of the Western World (The United State and Europe) they deserve what is befalling them. Christians who support a government that conducts aggressive warfare against a sovereign nation that is of no immediate threat and in the process kills hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians are guilty of being accessories to murder. A recent statistic estimated that the ratio of civilian deaths to military deaths has escalated during the Twentieth Century and in the Iraq War is probably as high as 9 civilians killed to each soldier. The citizens of the United States and Europe have sinned against the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God through Whom freedom flowed. Captivity is God’s remedy for rampant sin. God has been abandoned and people have sought their own hedonistic comfort and enjoyment. They have failed to obey God’s Laws and ordered their societies after the laws of men; they have attempted to make Him their servant rather than being His servant; they have stubbornly elected government officials that have carried out policies that are an abomination to King Jesus and then prayed that He would bless them. They are a stubborn and disobedient people who have earned the coming captivity. Democratic government elected by an uninformed electorate and controlled by a press and media with an agenda is Fascist and the United States has been in that condition for several decades. The hope that a power transfer to the Democrats might result in a modicum of justice has already unraveled as impeachment advocate Rep. John Conyers from Michigan, in typical political party fashion, has turned from a lion into a cooperative pussy cat following the example of his leader, Nancy Pelosi. Has anyone noticed that neither political party is advocating an end to OWG or the NAU; seeking to get us out of the United Nations, NAFT and CAFTA; promising to end abortion; or returning the nation to a morally sound America-first policy? No, dear readers, just as horrendous evils in the form of imperialistic aggression abroad and restrictions of freedoms at home resulted from the election of the Bush II Administration the inexorable progression of world government and incursions into the freedom of our citizens will continue with the Democratic legislature and coming presidency. So, what good does it do to vote you ask? Votes at the national level for either of the two major political parties are wasted votes. The only avenue to positive change lies in massive support for a Third Political Party such as Pastor Chuck Baldwin has recommended. It is the only solution but, unfortunately our party affiliated, stubborn, disobedient and sometimes illiterate electorate will never make the change. The analogy between the United States Constitution and OWG makes for interesting consideration but in God’s perfect wisdom the results are quite different. Nations can be righteous and receive God’s generous approbation but OWG defies God’s Will for it was God, Himself, who created diverse languages and thereby separate nations. What God has ordained man defies to his own detriment Incidentally, my quizzical rebuker admitted to being culpable of willfully voting for George W. Amen here as well, from a Peroutka voter in '04 and a Kinky Freidman straight Libertarian ticket in this election..and I willfully and happily abstained from all D/R uncontested races.
Same here - and I have yet to find anyone who voted for helmet-head in this election. Until, and unless, we get back to paper, hand-counted ballots; I'll not be wasting my time at the "ballot-box."
