Thanks MAd Tommy and I hope you did better than the turkey did. Just spent most of the day working, we give all our guys off most of the week so it's alot of time behind the counter for me for the next few days.

Naturally it generates alot of goodwill for our employees, but it is intresting to see how so many of our customers react so poitively to seeing us pull some long shifts to give our guys a generous vacation.

As most of them don't get many breaks form the system, it generates alot of goodwill towards us and the store.

Any way I always say the first day they come back to work is the real "employee appreciation Day".

Today and tomorrow I'll be working tweleve hours, closing at midnight. At least I have the internet to divert abit, tho it's dial up, so I tend not to respond much, as I have to disonnect frequently to run a credit card.

Was at Natchez a few weeks ago watching theose huge barges go by, heading your way some of them, up that great river. Really something to see.

PMS=Putting up with Men's Shit, at least that is what my girlfriend told me. I had to agree too, and give her a box of chocolates besides. You see she asked if I thought she was fat before telling me that. ;-D

Spent the day cooking, cleaning, and working on stuff. Today it's back to the grindstone of putting stuff in boxes and shipping out to clients. After this weekend, I'm free for about a week.

Then it's back to work on more stuff. Things are going well. Black Friday traffic wasn't too bad when I went to the DMV to update the tags on the car.

Hooray... I'm part of the system.
