Disgraced Hustler Jeff Gannon Dissing Sen. Webb

by sternsieger

Wed Nov 29, 2006 at 03:46:47 PM PST

I could hardly believe my eyes when I came upon this guy's webpage. Not only was is spewing the same right wing idiocy he used to do so freely at the White House Press Corp--before it was discovered he was running a pretty non-family values website and selling more than his opinions, that is.

Now, if you click on his website below, you get his take on Jim Webb's recent exchange with Bush about his son serving in Iraq:

Washington Post Senator Classless Act

Washington Post Senator-Elect Jim Webb has proved himself to be the classless act that the newspaper helped him to hide during the "macaca" campaign. Webb took advantage of President Bush's gracious invitation to new members of Congress to visit the White House to insult the Commander-in-Chief.

Their conversation as reported by Webb Press Secretary Washington Post:

BUSH: "How's your boy?" (Webb's son is a U. S. Marine serving in Iraq)

WEBB: "I'd like to get them out of Iraq, Mr. President."

BUSH: "That's not what I asked you. How's your boy?"

WEBB: "That's between me and my boy, Mr. President...."

http://www.jeffgannon.com/...

Is this scumbag actually calling an elected United States Senator and veteran whose son is currently serving in Iraq "CLASSLESS!????" honest to God, despite what probably goes into it, I would never have expected something this outrageous to come out of Jeff Gannon's mouth! This coming from the rest stop Nosferatu himself?

The more press the better. Webb is already becoming a cult hero. Gannon...he's a schmoe, a nobody.

bush is a complete idiot to respond that way. because when he asked the senator how his son was, the senator answered. by telling bush that he'd like to bring the troops home he told the president that his son needs to come home. and bush was too stupid to understand that.

He's not the only one. The now-disgraced GOP is using every opportunity to declare that this is contempt for the office. It was clearly contempt for the jerk who stole the office.

It's about to get worse, if you can believe it.

The Time talking head on Scarborough says that we're pulling in troops from Mosul and Anbar into Baghdad where another 20,000 guard will be flown in from home for a showdown with Sadr and the Shia.

They're drawing comparisons with the Diem coup in Vietnam as Maliki snubs Bush for the big summit. Like he didn't want to receive the kiss of death in person.

The Time man's prediction is a big rumble with the Saudis in on the act in support of the Sunnis (Don't hold your breath on that one.)

They are now hyping a REGIONAL WAR. The Battle for Baghdad etc., etc.

How do you like them apples??

The now-disgraced GOP

The Dems have been elected to impeach or arrest Bush. They were not elected to widen the gates at the border, legislate amnesty, or pass hate crime legislation as they are claiming. They have no mandate other than to lock Bush up in a cage like the monkey he is. Anything less than an immediate call for his resignation or impeachment will "disgrace" the dems.

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. When you give up that force, you are ruined."

The Saudies are reliant on the US and the UK for the bulk of their military weapons ranging from small arms to tanks and jet fighters. If they get involved without US permission DC and London will cut off the spare parts and ammo the same day.

Iran however, with the bulk of its military hardware coming from China, Russia, and a bit of domestic production won't have to worry about the suppliers getting cold feet.

I wonder if he's threatening Webb.

Webb is not the kind of man that it's wise to threaten, especially through members of his family.

my version -

BUSH: "How's your boy?" (Webb's son is a U. S. Marine serving in Iraq)

WEBB: "I'd like to get them out of Iraq, Mr. President."

BUSH: "That's not what I asked you. How's your boy?"

WEBB: "That's between me and my boy, Mr. President....btw, are the girls getting plenty of S. American strange down there?

I think it's significant that Guckert/Gannon was the first of a bunch of White House sycophants to attack Webb over this. It means that someone in the White House is still in touch with Guckert/Gannon.

Katrina was America's Chernobyl.

Guckert/Gannon saying Webb lacks class, Will saying he is a boor. Obviously operating off the same talking points.

Oh, and if Rove can't plausibly accuse you of being an elitist, I guess all he's left with is to accuse you of being a boor without class.

Katrina was America's Chernobyl.

I wouldn't be surprised if Webb's early novel would be tame stuff to the twins.

IMO, Shrub is threatening the safety of Webb's son in Iraq.

Madsen noticed this ominous similarity:

Wellstone and Webb both received the Bush White House reception line 'treatment'

lol! It takes a special kind of insensitivity (or numbness) to even venture into such shamelessness.
