Title: Hostile Takeover of Scholars for 9/11 Truth

Without naming names at this point, people hostile to rationality and the scientific method are close to completely taking over Scholars for 9/11 Truth. Such people claim that "space beams" destroyed the World Trade Center, that no planes hit the Twin Towers, and that the Twin Towers fell faster than free-fall speed. None of the scientists in the Scholars' group buy these theories.

These people throw out false arguments and then -- when caught in an untruth -- start calling anyone who raises contrary facts names and attempts to bully them into submission. They used the Karl Rove "slime and defend" tactics. Even though all of the group's scientists disclaim these claims, the Rovians shout them from the rooftops on websites and radio broadcasts and every other soapbox they can find.

One of the Twin Cities largest papers is covering the story, and Jeff Wells of Rigourous Intuition says "scholars for 9/11 Truth [are] tearing one another new impact holes over speculation on space-based beam weaponry."

Will cloudy thinkers and disinformation agents win? Or will rationality prevail?

Even though the Scholars' group includes stellar scientists, and heroes like Bob Bowman, David Ray Griffin, and many others, everyone will need to ignore the group if the hostile takeover is completed. If the ship sinks, the good people will find better homes, because you cannot keep good men (or women) down.

The problem with equality is that any moron with an Internet connection thinks he is the equal of David Ray Griffin.

I've been following this for almost two weeks. Fetzer, Woods and Reynolds are the driving force behind these absolutely ridiculous "theories".

Jones, Ryan, Ross, Hoffman, King have the most solid papers, science and research.

I've always been leery of Fetzer. I've watched him tank more interviews on cable tv than I would care to mentioned. I could easily do a better job.

I'm sure there will be a breakaway group of real scientists from these loonytunes. Once these people leave, watch how many of these types like Fetzer & Co. get on cable or are interviewed with their talk of spacebeams, missles, pods, mini nukes, no planes hit the towers/blue screen holograms bullshit.

Fetzer has been kicked off RBN. Thank God. Sky, where is he now broadcasting?

I smelled this coming for quite some time. I wonder if the rockets in the elevator shaft theory has gained any ground? LOL

It appears that GCN picked Fetzer up.

Kevin Barrett was on RBN yesterday, but he's supposedly doing a couple of days a week at GCN too, on days when Fetzer's off in the same time slot.

Barrett kicked Kaminski off the air a couple of weeks ago for "anti-semetic" behavior. I was listening to the program and Kaminski was having dialogue without being argumentative or interrupting Barrett's responses.

Avoidance of discussion will insure the problem isn't resolved.

Did you feel that way when we saw him in LA? Fetzer and Barrett have a show on GCN now. I heard the show when John Stadtmiller got upset with Fetzer for expressing that he was basically a clintonista.

I missed the mess - whatever it was. As far as I know, I'm on good terms with Fetzer. I blasted the ray-gun theory, generically. Maybe I'm going to have to explain myself on his program. He already knows what's on my mind. We'll see. I don't know which show it is.
