They belive, for whatever reason, that what they hear in their so-called church, is, somehow, God`s Word made real in this world. Nothing could be further from the truth, and a man, lic. by the state to preach the word of god, and who takes his daily bread from his flock, should not be trusted, nor should he be supported. The following is very informative, and you may need to read it once or twice to really begin to understand. For centuries the ministers of the Church were a reservoir of knowledge about agriculture, food preservation and the healing arts. Practical information about all manners and methods of aiding others were a part of their physical and living library. They were the storehouse of knowledge and skills that survived the fall of civilization and was key to the survival of freedom and liberty under God. From the Levites to the essenes, to the free church these ministers provided a valuable service. Freely giving and freely receiving in a sustainable network of service. During times when any major disaster might make it impossible for pharmaceutical companies along with all other industries to provide everything from medicines to disinfectants or food, clothing and shelter, an alternative will become a matter of life and death. Alternative resources will not only be a wise choice but possibly the only choice. Herbs, oils, food and food preservation, skills, ability, tools of sustainable industry from the ground up....teaching others ... making books, training videos... courses.... the list is endless. In the future it may mean you not only may have to produce what you may need but if you have the knowledge and skills you may be the only one who can produce or obtain these items for others or show them how to do it. Those who have already learned much in this area will have places at the church to teach and learn more. The church can adapt itself to doing and teaching others these cottage and life giving industries. The items we can produce will become the "sacred"[and therefore unregulated] items of our service. Because we may have property in several locations some items that can be produced only in certain climates may be available from different church retreats and research facilities. Teaching others may become a full time and productive activity of the Church as well as the goods and services associated with education, health [spiritual and physical... body and soul] and sustaining a free people under God. There are may people who for some strange reason[??? :-)] find themselves looking for alternatives. Many people in the modern church think they got "it" but in fact they are addicted to the world and its questionable services and Christ condemned systems of Corban. They may think we are evil because we suggest an alternative to the half gospel they have become so comfortable with. We will find God's people in many different places. We will also need to find work and industry for those who will not be able to buy and sell because they are separate and unnumbered, branded or what have you. Our righteous service must exceed theirs in efficiency as well as be measured according to the righteousness of Christ. Even gathering herbs to buy and sell is "illegal " in many states. But to share is not regulated, yet. The concepts of co-ops may be utilized in expanding the service and functionality of a sub economy that could come from these important activities. A holy network may be strengthened in the use and service moving in the spirit of Christ. Among people who are already doing [with everything from software http://www.openoffice.org/ ; http://www.wikipedi a.org/ ; to as well as hundreds of other voluntary groups] a productive service as their primary goal rather than simply selfish profit driven activities we while find the spirit of the kingdom. Rather than promoting our own vain doctrines and imposing our restricting self proclaimed dogmas on these provided forums we could have been working and producing a way in which we may help others as much as we may need help ourselves. Who has skills or will develop skills that could be used in preserving a society based on voluntary service, faith, hope and charity. Who wants to actually do the will, of the Father according to His living word. There is so much that could be done on these groups and amongst people to help make liberty and freedom a reality. Those two things mentioned above [openoffice and wikipedia ] are amazing examples of what can be produced by unselfish people. The huge volume of work and cooperation demonstrated by these monumental works, produced by volunteerism is astounding. Those of us who have worked with groups of men know that there is a spirit that gets it done and there is a spirit that accomplishes little or nothing, even keeps others from accomplishing any thing of value. People on these groups have to decide if they want to get something done or just espouse personal philosophies. Yes! It is important to discuss ideas but if we do not implement action then we soon become counter productive. The power to heal comes behind learning to give. Giving means giving time, energy and what ever we are given. The thing we may be short on is time. Time to learn skills, Time to come together and make things happen. I see a vast opportunity available to us and few working with any real diligence toward a society that is the kingdom. I see men who want to be free but not working to free others. I see men wanting to sustain themselves but not others or more important to teach others to sustain themselves and their communities. We do not need to form an organization but be that organization. We need to talk about the work just enough to begin the work. There is a log on the ground and men standing around seeing it needs to be moved. Some one goes over and bends down to lift it and others come alongside and reach for a piece of the log. They struggle, they move, they lift and the carry it to where it needs to be. If one stumbles the others are there, moving together, sharing the load... doing the work. They get it done because the love the doing .... We will always be plagued by those who the land producing milk and honey is a foreign place because the ways of God are foreign to them. We must be doers of the word in order to find the promised land, the land promised to the saints by God, the land where ever the seed of Abraham goeth, the land the faithful put their foot upon.... Those of you who think these groups are not productive.. .. start producing... reach for the log... give it a tug... and see who comes together to do the work at hand.... We have a chance to get some real things done.... the question remains as to who are doers of the word .... Gregory
