I left LP at 4:30 yesterday so I am going to have to punch in early this morning to make up for lost time. But before I go, there is one important point that needs to be reinforced.

Anyone who posts an article that presents hard facts that run counter to my political viewpoint, and which cannot be dismissed with a wave of my hand, is a rabid anti-semite.

Here is where I lay into that pesky article poster Brian S over on LP:

This guy had the gaul to post factual articles that promoted political view points not supported by the RNC. This is per se anti-semitism and we banned the guy for it. Keep this in mind if you plan to post articles supporting non-apporved opinions.

It is inconsiderate, disrespectful and it is arrogant.

I've had a few in my life try to win me over to their viewpoint. I give em a chance to speak their piece, then give them the option of either letting it go, or getting out of my house/life.

No loss for me has ever been realized by either decision.

I can't imagine what drives somebody to do such a thing, after knowing how you feel about it. That is disrespect.

Now, about that coffee filter as headgear....(chuckle)

I've thought this over some, and conversion has its distinct benefits. I'd instantly become immune to hate speech, my nationality would also be my race, dual citizenship would be available, no one would question my expertise in identifying racism, my political interests would be listened to and acted on by our congress and bathing/shaving would be optional. Quite the deal all things considered.
