"Outraged" that Americans want to secure the borders, San Pablo woman goes on a diet

On the fourth night of her front yard hunger strike, Diana Ponce (pictured) lay delirious under the carport, fighting off the chill under a fuzzy blanket emblazoned with the Mexican flag.

Neighbors sat clustered around her on white plastic lawn chairs. Children smacked at a yellow volleyball in the street. Toddlers tricycled past fence-strung banners that read "Tenemos Que Unirnos" -- We have to unite.

Outraged by recent news accounts of vigilante Mexican border hawks, the 32-year-old San Pablo woman took to the streets -- really, her driveway -- on two lawn chairs pushed together. Ponce, a diabetic, is fasting there for a week.

That is something European-Americans have yet to learn.

This woman can diet for a long time with no ill effects. It is about time that the anglos, i.e. Americans, started standing up for themselves. The Minuteman Project is a good start.

The Minuteman Project is a good start.

It sure is, somebody got off their duffs and actually did something.
However you are right, it is only a start

Yeah, one tiny step...

The time is a bit late for "tiny steps" though.

There are people who would argue that it is too late for big steps.

Really, PuuuLLleease! There's enough insulation on her to enable her to re-create Shackelton's expedition naked...

There are no steps to take; the stairway is unsafe and we must wait until it has collapsed.

Short of a someone with some serious means, funding a group of mercenarys to search out and assasinate the International bankers and their protégés..... Yes, I would say our future is pretty well determined.

That seems to be the consensus of many who believe we've gone to the point of no return.
