But the new CEO Donald Rumsfeld then moved,
To get the poison out of Searle's door.
It was called Aspartame the poison of sweetened fame,
All for Monsanto's treasure and pride;
So Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.
FDA leader, his choosing (crook, crook, crook, crook),
Then false reports he's using (crook, crook, crook, crook),
Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.
Don Rumsfeld gave food safety a fatal blow,
FDA leader was his new toy;
With his hand picked selection Don Rumsfeld would know,
That approval would come with this ploy.
With its poisonous roar Aspartame came out the door,
As in its test reports Rummy lied;
So Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.

Doctor Arthur Hayes the crook Rummy did hire,
To get the approval off the ground;
And Hayes would not waste time, for he had one desire--
In his cooshey job to stick around.
Aspartame won its race-- As Hayes said with a streight face,
That it would not cause our health to slide;

I'm particularly proud of this one because it is the first of my song parody- updates where I sequenced the MIDI file myself rather than using one from some one elses Internet site the way Douggie does.
As for the double "For" in the fourth verse it was NOT one of my usual mispellings. It was the result of my editor crashing on me. ;c)
