In one important aspect, the new democracy in Iraq is ahead of the older one in the United States -- it is holding its former leader and his henchmen accountable for the deaths of its citizens.

The trial and punishment of Saddam Hussein began a process of accountability for the highest cards in the infamous Iraqi deck. In this country, only the lowest cards in our deck have been called into account.

The high cards, the ace of spades (President Bush), the kings (Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle), the queen of hearts (Condoleezza Rice) and etc., have borne no responsibility for the deaths of more than 3,000 soldiers (more than those killed in 9/11) and thousands of Iraqis.

If democracy is to survive in the U.S., Congress must hold the persons represented on our high count cards accountable for their actions.

Time To Hold U.S. Culprits Accountable

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hoo! HOO! Ho ho ho ho ha ha ha *choke* HAHA HAHAHAAHA HOO HOO *gasp* HOO HOO HOO HO HO HO HO HA HA HO HO HO HOOOO HO HO *wheeze* HAHAHAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAHA *puke*..

Wotta maroon.... Power Elites are NEVER held accountable for their actions. EVER! That's what it means to BE a Power Elite. Laws, ethics and morals are for little people, not for them. Jesus Christ, why is this idiot even wasting our time with this crap? Man, why not tell us about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny while we're at it. Hell, tales of goldfish leaving Lincoln Logs in a sock drawer would be more believeable.

The worst that has ever happened to a US President (besides being assassinated) was what happened to Richard Nixon- forced to leave office and enter cozy retirement to die two decades later as an "elder statesmen". And that whole thing is called a "national nightmare" by our court scribe whored pen media- as if we the people would never want to go through that again- and have one of our sainted "leaders" so persecuted. Bleck- hell- I would love to see every other President hounded out of office if not thrown in jail. Not one President has ever done anything to merit jail time or even criminal sanction in over two hundred years?

Once you reach a certain "security clearence" level in DC- it is like a get out of jail free card- you simply can't go to prison. Of course- that means your likelihood of being "plane accidented" goes higher because jail time isn't an option for your enemies in political battle. But such violence among our elites rarely occurs (though it has been increasing exponentially as of late). I loved watching all the BOTS drool over the Sandy Berger case and work themselves into a frenzy. I knew that man stood ZERO chance of ever seeing the inside of a jail cell. Berger had the highest clearences of the Empire. He is a inner inner circle player. Men who know what he knows don't do jail time- ever. Political war among this level of DC player means embarassing your opponent with probes and prosecutors and making him shell out money for lawyers and generally harassing each other. But jail time? They all know that won't ever happen.

Wow.... I just dozed off, and had the most amazing dream.

I dreamed I was watching a bunch of retards playing in a field. They were all dressed in the finest clothing, they had expensive watches and jewelery, and they were mindlessly babbling about how smart and beautiful and rich and powerful they were, mewling and puking their stupidity and avarice with their mindless ramblings. And they were playing a game of hacky sack, kicking the sack back and forth at each other, only it wasn't a sack, it was a live hand grenade. And the more they kicked it around, the more vicious their kicks became, as their twisted ugly retarded faces became angrier and angrier, and they kicked the sack and each other harder and harder, with more and more mindless hate and anger.

And there were a few adults around them, shouting at them to stop kicking the grenade, that it was going to go off, but they didn't listen, they just kicked harder and harder, more and more viciously, laughing and shouting in a twisted, obscene way. And they were mocking the grenade, saying "See? It won't ever go off! It's a dud! It won't do nothing! We can kick it all we want! Isn't this fun! HAHAHA!"

Suddenly the grenade went off, a brilliant flashing shocking and violent explosion, shrapnel and blown-apart ugly tard-bits flying everywhere.

And then I woke up.... and wondered about what I had just dreamed. What could it have meant....

who can say why certain articles get replies while others don't. guess it depends on who happens to be online at the time. don't think for a minute, though, that your news articles aren't appreciated by all.

Oh I know. Just the nature of the beast.

Many articles just stand by themselves without commentary needed.

Other forums use the posting of a new article only as platform to start the next round of 'flamewars'. Fortunately that is not the case here.

I'd second that.

Brian, it takes me a couple of hours ( and several cups of coffee)to read through and think about the content of all the articles you have posted in the course of the day.

It's amazing. And your news sources are so varied as well.

Many thanks for the time you put towards keeping us all informed on political issues - the forum discussions are lively as a result of the interesting ideas that are posed in the articles you post.
