The swastika, before the Nazis perverted it, has always been a symbol of good luck, and still is in the Eastern world.

I have seen "good luck" American swastika postcards from the early 1900's, and at least one American infantry unit wore it as a shoulder patch. Lots of old buildings have swastikas on them, and they exist even in old churches.

I've seen this news story, and the funny thing, is that they do not even remotely discuss the person in question, who he is, what he did, who he worked for, or anything about the guy.

I think that if I were a journalist, I'd be interested in what the fuck this guy was about, rather than just show pics of the kids being reunited with the parents.

This country's priorities are all fucked up.
