In defending themselves against a federal government they claim is operating outside the government's jurisdiction, Ed and Elaine Brown have filed 42 motions in Concord, New Hampshire's, US District Court and had every one denied. The couple then spent three days in court last week listening to the federal government try to build an income tax case against them. "Of course the government failed. They didn't prove a thing. There's nothing to prove. We didn't violate a statute because there is no statute, and they don't even have jurisdiction. In fact, the court is operating out of a building that New Hampshire never ceded to the federal government--as the law requires in order to have jurisdiction over anyone who has ever been tried in that court!" But it gets worse. When Judge McAuliffe gave the Browns a draft copy of the jury instructions he planned to deliver at the end of the trial, the contents convinced Ed Brown that McAuliffe would never let him present the kind of defense he planned. Ed Brown called me on Saturday evening and said that it was clearly pointless for them to go back into that courtroom, and they will not go. Consequently, he fully expects an armed assault by law enforcement at his home on Tuesday, which he and his friend Michael believe will result in a Waco-type scenario. Quipped Michael, "At least we'll be warm." Ed Brown said he had one simple message for America: "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country." Until recently, I lived very close to Plainfield...that area and Waco have nothing in common.
the browns have made their stand and this is their hill. they're refusing to go back into court. i think the comparison to waco is to see if the government does to them what they did to the branch davidians.
Home of the Free State Project...there is nothing on their site about this, but if they get wind of Browns' situation, it could get interesting. New Hampshire is the ONLY state left that does NOT require use of seat belts, and they have a history of hostility toward 'outside interference'. Keep an eye on this.
yes, i'm aware of this about NH so i am curious to see what happens here.
If I had enough money to fly to NH, I'd be there. As it is, I barely make the rent every month. I hope they get thousands to surround them and stop the StateInc stormtroopers at the property line.

There is no way U will beat the system (machines)with the courts and paper. It will have to be in the streets with the people regaining our freedoms. We live in a matrix and the government are the machines. The Machines know they can do what they want without any accountability or impunity. I know as I battled them for 4-5 years with paper and legal presentations. They ignored everything I sent them. The cost was great. I have since resolved to never again be a paper patriot. U will not win. It must end in the street. These people will not win this confrontation. No matter what the government does at this point they will prevail. Their response will be, no response. They are accountable to no one. Look at 911. If the machines wanted to clear them selves of any suspecion they could do so if they wished to, or had any thing to say, but they remain solent because there is no one or no way to cause them to be accountable. No redress, just as there was with king George. We have come full circle and are back where we started before king george. It is THAT time again. GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH,There is a cost.
I just rang in and spoke with Ed, briefly, before he was to go on another radio show - I told him about 4um (but clearly, he was to distracted to ever remember that information) and I wished him well from all of us here.

Nobody gives a shit about people like these two, because it's so ingrained in every moron in this country that it is their sworn duty to pay tithe and tribute to the state. If everyone said NO, then the piggy bank would empty. Making examples of these two people will serve the public trust well, as it will show the little people of America that they better cough up, or they'll squeeze a little harder and MAKE you cough. This country ceased to be America after the great depression. When Russia went communist, it was the deathknell of a free America. All anyone has to do, is look at the Russian revolution, and its timeliness to our great depression and you will see without fail the connection that shows BOTH were engineered. This country was forced at gunpoint to pay tithe and tribute to King George. After the great depression, the PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY WERE FORCED AT GUNPOINT TO PAY TITHE AND TRIBUTE TO NON-GOVERNMENT ENTITIES. The government of this country has failed in its primary duty in protecting the American People from criminals, and terrorists. These two people more than likely are paying Social Security, or want to be part of the system, but don't want to pay in. That's the whole point. NH is only about 3 or 4 hours from here. If this starts looking like a Waco, I guess I'll have to take a drive. But only if it is going to be a serious effort. I've wasted enough of my time over the years.

Easy drive from CT...Plainfield is right off Interstate 91 on the Connecticut River. People in NH and Vermont WILL turn out IF they support the Brown's cause. That is hard to determine at this point...

Will Dentist Appear for Federal Trial? Concord, New Hampshire - January 16, 2007
The federal tax evasion trial may continue, even if a Lebanon dentist and her husband don't show up.
Edward and Elaine Brown are accused of not paying their federal taxes for the last decade, and they owe over half a million dollars.
Even though they are representing themselves, they failed to show up for trial last Friday. The couple is reportedly upset with the judge.
The Browns will not be penalized if they return to court Tuesday. If they do not, the judge could allow the trial to continue in their absence.
Elaine Brown is the owner of Half Hollow Dental Center in Lebanon.

Just heard an on-air interview with Mr. Brown on a 'Peter Mac' (?) show out of Kansas...Mr. Brown sounds like he expects to be killed, probably in the next few days. His wife went to court today, but he stayed home. They are trying to get her to accept a plea agreement, which will completely destroy her life. I get the impression Ed and Elaine don't expect to see each other again. He mentioned the details of their arrest back in May...all officials were packing heat, even the Postal 'official' on site! WTF??? There were snipers on nearby rooftops. This is a very busy area of town, packed with numerous retail storefronts (I lived there until a few months ago.) Local authorities NOT happy with the way the raid of his wife's dental office was conducted. (Local police in Lebanon are very nice.) This situation is starting to garner a lot of attention...Alex Jones has an article up on his website, and many website forums have picked up on it. My question...where the hell are the members of the 'Free State Project'? Nary a peep out of them, to date.

They have a thread right here: http://forum.soulawakenings.com/index.php?topic=3868.360 and it looks like they are quite involved. Apparently some members have visited Ed at home and have attended the trial and been protesting in front of the courthouse since the trial started.
The free state project is a very politically correct group. They probably won't get involved.

Edward and Elaine Brown, of Plainfield, N.H., were charged with conspiring to commit tax fraud, conspiring to disguise large financial transactions and disguising large financial transactions. The couple insisted on representing themselves, but last week, they failed to appear in court. Tuesday, Elaine Brown returned and is negotiating a plea. Her husband did not return to court, and prosecutors said that the trial would continue Wednesday with or without him. Federal prosecutors said the Browns are part of a militia group that refuses to recognize the legitimacy of the federal government.
