The reason for this thread: Some time yesterday Doug from Upland form FreeRepublic posted a large set of Song Parodies on a FreeRepublic thread that he entered in a contest on a Neo Con radio talk program (Bill Bennet) dealing with the Sandy Berger "pants stuffing" theft of documents from the National Archives in 2003. As I consider myself in competition with him I'm introducing here a thread of my own update parodies from last year on my own favorite mocking target Donald Rumsfeld and Aspartame legalization. In this light I would hope that any lurker here associated with Alex Jones or Jeff Rense Consider a similar contest for song parodies on the Don Rumsfeld/Aspartame legalization issue. First up BEAUTIFUL ROSE.

For many long years it was left unapproved,
It belonged on the reject pile floor;
But the new CEO Donald Rumsfeld then moved,
To get the poison out of Searle's door.
It was called Aspartame the poison of sweetened fame,
All for Monsanto's treasure and pride;
So Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.
FDA leader, his choosing (crook, crook, crook, crook),
Then false reports he's using (crook, crook, crook, crook),
Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.
Don Rumsfeld gave food safety a fatal blow,
FDA leader was his new toy;
With his hand picked selection Don Rumsfeld would know,
That approval would come with this ploy.
With its poisonous roar Aspartame came out the door,
As in its test reports Rummy lied;
So Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.

Then false reports he's using (crook, crook, crook, crook)

Doctor Arthur Hayes the crook Rummy did hire,
To get the approval off the ground;
And Hayes would not waste time, for he had one desire--
In his cooshey job to stick around.
Aspartame won its race-- As Hayes said with a streight face,
That it would not cause our health to slide;
So Don Rumsfeld-- got Aspartame a pass--
And more sheeple died.

Genuine reports, they were switched in the night--
About rats that were found dead or dumb;
Then those reports were torched and the ashes took flight--
And by false ones approval had come.
For the truth rang the chime, that Aspartame Was a crime,
And thereby the rats' brains had been fried;
