If an American drone was really shot down in Iranian airspace, and it appears that it was, then there is no way to spin the story. This is per se monkey business on the part of Bush.

Because the story can't be spun, and because the story is damaging to Bush and the GOP, I am forced to take a more extreme position and say that the incident simply didn't happen.

I won't tell you why it didn't happen, just that it didn't. That's all you need to know. The story is posted here on the BN. Don't read it as I just made it false with my pronouncement.

I am now going to focus on my hummer. Don't bother me for a while.

Reality is usually what the White House says on El Pee- except when it makes them look like fools or they would have to admit that they were wrong. In such cases they believe the White House itself is ruled by "leftists" trying to undermine Der Fuhrer so they rely on third tier trash from the reichwinger propaganda organs. That is how they reconcile things like Bush saying that Iraq had no ties to AQ or that it wasn't behind 9/11 or that they had no WMDs- all things Bush has admitted. They just chose to believe the garbage in their reichwinger press about the WMD going to Syria and AQ really did have connections to Saddam. How do they account for Bush not backing this crap in their nutter press? They don't. Fanatics and dope ideologue rubes are able to believe all sorts of nonsense.
