I was in the service you know. I once saw a guy sucked into the engine intake of a Ford Galaxie 500 as it was landing on a carrier deck. I wouldn't lie about something like this.

I am going to have the young guy down at the service center give me my hummer this morning.

I don't think it was a Ford. Seems like it was a Honda Civic.

Sailor Killed In Carrier Accident

Norfolk (AP): The US Navy reported today that a sailor was killed in a horrific accident during exercises in the Artic ocean when he was sucked into the engine intake of a Ford Galaxy 500 as it was landing on the carrier USS Eisenhower.

Accident investigators were on the scene, but had not yet ruled out any causes for the death, or begun pointing any fingers at who was to blame. Terrorism has still not been ruled out.

One witness to the accident, Gunners Mate Badeye, described the accident to reporters. "I was on the carrier deck of the Dwight D waxing my hummer when I saw the 5 prop jet comming in. I thought it was really low, but it might have been really high, depending on how far away it was. Anyway, I went back to waxing my hummer and then it happened. So I jumped in my hummer and drove over. Do you believe me? Would you like a ride in my hummer?".

More details are expected as the investigation continues.

If you were in the navy, what you saw was thru the hole in the barrell you were in takig your turn at barrell watch. You gave that other sailor a hummer, didn't you? Now I know what the other posters mean when they say you suck!!!!!!
