On Thursday morning, CNN took an "inside look" at a once-secret CIA prison, based on letters written by a detainee who is now being held at the Guantanamo Bay facility in Cuba.
Terrorism suspect Majid Khan is called the "worst of the worst" by the US goverment, but his family showed the cable news network letters he wrote behind bars which attest to his innocence. Khan's family hadn't heard from him in three years, and had thought he was dead.
Khan was one of the fourteen detainees that the United States held in secret prisons before transferring them to Guantanamo last year. The cable news network also showed documents that have been redacted, from the times that Khan was at various prisons.

Since when is suspicion of anything grounds for detaining anyone on earth indefinitely and incommunicado? How can our tyrannical government describe a man and his fellow inmates as "worst of the worst" if it refuses to charge, allow a defense for, or bring to trial any of them? This wretched, unconstitutional Bush/Cheney regime, and not this poor man, is "the worst of the worst."
