Washington, DC, January 25, 2007 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has condemned the reported bias-motivated attack on three Palestinian students at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. ADL commends the Greensboro Police Department for the arrests of the alleged perpetrators, and calls upon the university administration to continue its efforts to heal the rifts that have been exposed on campus in the wake of this incident. The ADL's Washington, DC Regional Office is a leader in the fight against hate crimes throughout the region. The Regional Office was one of the founders of the DC Bias Crimes Task Force, a coalition of police, prosecutors and community organizations combating hate crimes.

Well good for Abe and the ADL. I'll give credit when it's due and this seems like a situation that the ADL rightly stepped up to the plate.
I think I'll go back to being a reporter, if that's the best they can do today. If you google news, there's plenty of articles that flesh out the alleged crime better . But for all the tax breaks the ADL gets for being a non profit non political organization, it's nice to read that he opened his yap at least once about an issue other than Naziis hiding under Jewish old ladies' beds. Talk about obsession - on our taxpayers' dimes. I should add that I don't believe in hate crimes being codified into law or warranting any extra jail time - all lives should be valued equally so a black, a woman, a Jew, a Muslim should not be valued as anthing more precious to society than others who don't fit into those aforementioned groups. But if Abe wants to grab a microphone to condemn such crimes, he can do so to his heart's content but he should do it for all hate crimes not just those affecting Jews - that is, if he wants the ADL to continue getting its tax break as being non profit, non-political.
