This man's family called 911 because Deacon was having an epileptic seizure. The police arrived ahead of an ambulance and took him into custody. A Grand Jury was convened to investigate. They voted to not indict. The District Attorney never allowed them to see this video. Note the smirk on the woman cop as he is carried into the room.

One good reason is the payola the Taser company is so generous in giving to police chiefs and procurement officers in police departments, as well as hireing retired chiefs to be PR spokesmen in the cities they just retired from.
I went to a realtors convention recently. there were thousands of vendors there, all real estate related stuff, and then there was a taser booth. I don't know why. anyway, they had this obnoxious t-shirt that I thought my daughter would love, so I asked if I could have one (you know how at conventions everyone's giving stuff like that away) and the guy tells me that the shirts are only for people who let themselves be tasered. I'm of course like 'what?????' and he said people had been volunteering all day. I kept going back by there and never actually saw anyone doing it, but others told me that they did. see it, that is, not do it.

Note the smirk on the woman cop as he is carried into the room. Well the gentleman's abrupt demise wiped that stupid smirk off her face as you'll notice when she left the room. I was so revolted by this video that I nearly threw my computer out the window. I don't know how anybody can joke around on a thread like this. This entire country's going to reap a whirlwind and soon, no mistake.

I am no expert, but you can set the levels of Taz, so no doubt the level was nine volts or something similar to "show how it dosn't hurt".
What was his crime, having an epileptic seizure?! I went to the source, video would not play for me but I don't think I want to watch it anyway. I'd like to know though what it was he did for the cops to do that to him.
when I watched it - it looked like to me that they had him very well subdued, there were like a dozen sheriff's deputies all around. Three were kneeling on him. and of course they had his hands and feet bound in the plastic ties. and his epileptic fit was over it seemed. But every time they tasered him his body jumped and jerked like his seizure was coming back - obviously involuntary movements. and he was unable to challenge them with 3 on top of him. but they thought he was resisting and kept tasering him every time his body jumped from the last taser. and then he begs for his life, and then they taser him again. and then he goes south real fast. then they try to revive him for 15 minutes but can't. Then they put him on stretcher and send him to hospital. and the video says that he still had the plastic ties on arms & legs when he arrived - I guess the cops thought he might be revived and try to kill somebody. and the doctors said that his hands & feet were cold because blood was cut off. cops are idiots.

The thing didn't download for me. I think you might consider building a bunch of internet connected Yerts for all the decent folks in the 48 who want to tke a hike. Dianas' Yert City. I'll do the Liquor and propane sales. Both volitile substances.
I think cops get off on tasering people, it's torture and they enjoy inflicting pain on people. Cops who do this to people should go to jail for life, they are a menace to society. Sadism is running rampant in this country and there will be hell to pay for it in the end.
Sometimes I think about moving back, but something tells me to just stay put.
When my brother (a cop) got his new tazer - he decided to hold it against the door handle of his screen door just when my spouse was about to enter the house - said spouse did a complete blackflip before hitting the ground twitching. Those two, being men, found it funny - I was not very amused. Granted, said spouse is not a big man and the tazer was on a lower setting - but I cannot imagine what it can do on a high setting to a subdued subject.
I would imagine at a convention it was on a low setting, but still.....they have no knowledge of anyone's prior health conditions. it seemed totally crazy to me. I did want the t-shirt though, but not that badly.
