So I'm cruising down the highway Tuesday in my Chevy Cavalier (the one with 344,000 miles on the original engine and transmission) and the engine decides to blow on me. Dang. I was hoping to get 400,000 miles out of it, but it didn't make it. I think the head gasket blew. Oh well. My mechanic is putting an engine and transmission in it (the old tranny's good, but I'm going to get both replaced) that have 22,000 miles on them, for $2200. That's a very good deal.
Ha! Don't tell me American cars aren't high quality!
