This website is not much better sadly in that it also seeks to narrow focus views rather than expand them and reach consensus.

We live in a world of clever and methodically manufactured consensus - ala Effer & ElPee.

If there's any true consensus - of any kind - on this forum, it goes to the legacy of the inside-job of 9-11.

This forum is everything that Effer & ElPee claimed to be - then methodically betrayed.

Sure, this forum has a narrow focus on the truth - as God knows it. I hope no one has any objections there.

Being banned by Freerepublic and libertypost is an honor

Liberty Forum is the cyber-equivalent of an abandoned property that has been taken over by street people where people have contests to see who can scream the loudest and the longest.

You have an "absentee landlord," and at least 3 different cults who abuse the post ratings system to build their own group up and tear down any opposition.

If this is an example of "Libertarianism" in action, I heartily recommend anyone who is remotely interested in "Libertarianism" to see first-hand how it works in the real world.

There are a few good forums out there for those right of center and this one is not so bad but they are not influential - just a place where what is left of the true right movement not attached to kooks like race supremacists and the like can go and vent.

For the foreseeable future the only right wing websites that will matter in terms of influence are the Bush bot Christian Zionist rapture is nigh Freeper types.

The left wing has Dailykos - an impressive web forum community made up of smart posters and rational people even if I disagree with their politics for the most part.

Well said Sky.

There can be no consensus on a "wide" view of the Truth, for it then becomes something other than truth. The Truth is as it is. It is the job of all writers and scientists to start WIDE and to gradually NARROW their thoughts and mental focus until the essay or hypothesis is refined, and the Truth is discovered...not the other way around. Songs, essays, persuasive writing, the scientific method...all begin as vague and all encompassing and gradually reveal their truths through elimination and eventual specificity.

There is no such thing here at 4UM as uncivil or disruptive.

Actually that is not quite accurate. People have been banned from this forum for being uncivil. Yes, this forum is much more tolerant of foul language, but there are limits. It is not a family forum nor does it claim to be one like LP does though. So there is no hypocrisy among the owners of the forum here that I can see.

"Geek" as in "bite the heads off of baby ducks and chickens in a carny sideshow."

I'm old enough to remember this:

"Etymology

It is commonly believed that the word "geek" originates with side-show "circus geeks" — performers at carnivals who swallow various live animals, live insects, and so forth. Sometimes this would extend to biting the heads off of snakes, chickens, or other living animals."__wiki

The Truth is really quite a simple thing.

It is the exact time, place, form, and event. Any alteration to any one of those four elements is an alteration of the i.e., it is a lie.

Having said that the truth can sometimes be an elusive critter. It is not that it is not possible to know it but that it can be obscured or less than obvious on a first glance.

So, to find it we do have to narrow it to the simplicity i.e., that which is the exact time, place, form, and event; nothing more, and nothing less.

Sadly, I think that is what Americans have degenerated into. Inbred-Crackers.

Where are you getting your stereotypes from?

One source I know of is the documentaries on British tv stations which are broadcast all over Europe, as they do like to portray that about Americans. It has nothing to do with reality, they are a total distortion designed to make Europeans hate Americans (on a personal level at that) even more than they already do.

Don't fall for the propaganda because that's exactly what it is. This country is being purposely brought down and too many of it's people are pawns in the process.

And what's so strange about it is that it has nothing to do with reality, people's images of themselves have nothing to do with the way they really are in many cases.

To me a very good example is that really creepy poster who got booted off here recently. I tend to be trusting by nature (maybe too much at times) and I like most people (and posters), but that one put out some really bad vibes in addition to having that "superior" mentality when he/she/it was obviously anything but.

So why do you wish to murder those innocent believers? Let us parse what the quote means and then discuss our understanding of your ignorant words.

Murder: To unlawfully kill. When we destroy the filthy Muslims it will be a lawful killing, not murder. Murder is what the Muslims do to Israelis using their women and children as suicide bombers, the filthy pig dogs.

Innocent believers: To be innocent of their beliefs would mean they know not what they read (if they can, as Muslims are among the most illiterate peoples of the world, held down so by their religion), know not of what they pray, know not of what they chant, know not of what they train for, disavow the killing (actual murder) they do, disavow the throat cutting, the burning, the bombing, and deny the filthy, stinking, Muslims madmen their allegiance.

They are far from innocent and I wish not to murder them, but kill them we must, as one must kill the vermin in ones home.
