Mike Jones responds to Ted Haggard's announcement of his heterosexuality

by David Edwards and Michael Rogers

The prostitute who first exposed Evangelical minister Ted Haggard as a closeted gay man and crystal meth user has responded to Haggard's claim that he has successfully completed three weeks of "ex-gay" counseling.

In response to Haggard's statement, Jones giggled and responded "Well, that's the quickest therapy I've ever heard of. It's hard for me to imagine someone who is performing oral sex and saying that he is 'straight.' That just doesn't jive." If you were to ask me 'Do I think is Ted haggard gay?' I would have to say 'yes'," he added.

In response to one of Haggard's counselor's claims that Haggard's activities were not a "constant thing," Jones explained that he could only speak to the time he spent with Haggard and that had an ongoing sexual relationship with the minister and that their time together "indicated a gay man to me." Jones also shared that he had heard from two other individuals that claimed they had encounters with Haggard. Those accusers, Jones asserted, have chosen to remain anonymous for fear of losing their jobs.

When asked why he decided to expose Haggard, Jones said he was "tormented" over the decision, but that the "hypocrisy was so strong and evident that I just could not sit by any longer."

Of course Haggard is cured. All that is involved is making sure your voter registration is Republican and that you have an account on FreeRepublic. Once your Republican credentials are established, you can chew willies to your hearts content. It isn't queer when Republicans do it. How many times to I have to tell you guys that?

The ban only applies to liberals. Ask Badeye if you don't believe me.

It's not queer when Republicans do it.

Now, which experts are more believable, the good christian ones or the perverted sinner Mike Jones?

I don't give a damn who is gay or isn't as it is such an inconsequential aspect of being human that says nothing bad about a person.

This pretentiousness Haggard reveled in however shows graphically how reflexively and unconciously fundies lie to take care of those bothersome contridictions between what they verbally belch and what they do.

Haggard is still gay, and they are more concerned with damage control and image polishing then anything else. One would have to be a fool to believe otherwise.

Exactly...the guy's queer; fine with me as long as he leaves ME alone. Hypocrisy is the REAL issue here.

"He's straight and he can prove it!" Dawggy says, in a loud, manly voice!

"Right on Brother puppy!" Haggards says, confidently.

"Let's get Ted to massage Jones and I guarantee you that Ted won't be aroused in the slightest!" says dawggy...

"Uh, hold on there, puppy..." Haggard says, as he struggles to control his big, throbbing....heart!

This has gotta be hard for even the notoriously stupid and easy mark evangelicals to swallow. Goes away to some "clinic" or whatever- and two weeks later announces he is "straight"? I guess if you buy into rapture nutterism you will buy most anything one of these silk suited- gold pinky ringed coiffed conmen "preachers" tells you- but damn- you gotta think somewhere inside these people there is a nagging feeling that this ain't quite right.

It happens all the time. Wandering husbands and wives and even preachers who stray from the path say a few intense prayers and seek the counsel of powerful churchians who can "raise them from the dead".

In no time at all they're declared whole, forgiven, tanned, rested and ready to serve the Lord....

And, no member dares to even hint that Jeebus doesn't have the power to heal this way.

Singer-comedian Jim Stafford (I DON'T LIKE SPIDERS & SNAKES-MY GIRL BILL-WILDWOOD WEED) said "Babtists are like alley cats-you know they're out screwin' around but you can never catch 'em at it!"

The real sins are indiscretion and embarrassing the church. If you can avoid these pitfalls then you can fondle all the little boys' or girls' asses you like....

Yeah, there is something about these sort of "Christians"- they don't take sin seriously. It seems that about the only time Jesus enters the picture for rapture nutters is when they need to have a hand pressed on their forehead to remove the "Demons" that made them stray- and then it is back to quoting the old testament of their Killer God and Jesus gets stuffed back in the closet to await his next "Demon cleansing" show.

It isn't an accident that the highest rates of divorce are among the areas with the largest concentrations of Mc-Churches.

My dear, sweet, elderly aunt told me a story about her pastor who was caught "counseling" wives a bit too comprehensively.

When he came to my aunt and uncle's home for his regularly scheduled visit and sermon my uncle asked him about the charges, and the pastor said "Yes, it's true, I have a weakness for the wimmen" and he fully expected to not only be forgiven but he expected to continue to serve as pastor and counselor to any wives he could still get his hands on.

That was too much for my rural, Southerner uncle. My aunt may have been willing to forgive, though.

Funny, that.
