My name is Mr.Denise Ogbonnia,from foreign remittance dept of Global Bank Plc, branch section, in charge of credit and foreign bills of one of the Global Bank Plc. However, I got your contact through my internet search. Oh yeah. I've got a client, 19 yoa, who got a similar letter from an "overseas business interest" that sent him forged checks (which they represented to him as legitimate) with the agreement that he could keep 10% if the bank honored them. He convinced the rubes at one bank to honor one of them for fifteen grand, kept 1500 and sent the balance (in cash, the dumbshit) to a "mediary representative" in Georgia. Well, as you can imagine, they sent him a shitload more checks! He's going down for passing and attempting to pass checks to the tune of a quarter mil (he IS in fact guilty, I'm afraid. Even after being notified by one bank that the checks were forged, he went to another bank to try to pass them...)

what kind of time is this kid facing? how do you get caught for this kind of thing? I mean, I guess the bank reports you, but then whose jurisdiction is it? and I have to ask, if he had just kept the 1500, would he have gotten away with it? NOT that I'm considering it, just curious......
