Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols says a high-ranking FBI official "apparently" was directing Timothy McVeigh in the plot to blow up a government building and might have changed the original target of the attack, according to a new affidavit filed in U.S. District Court in Utah.

The official and other conspirators are being protected by the federal government "in a cover-up to escape its responsibility for the loss of life in Oklahoma," Nichols claims in a Feb. 9 affidavit.

Documents that supposedly help back up his allegations have been sealed to protect information in them, such as Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Utah had no comment on the allegations. The FBI and Justice Department in Washington, D.C., also declined comment. Nichols does not say what motive the government would have to be involved in the bombing.

The affidavit was filed in a lawsuit brought by Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue, who believes his brother's death in a federal prison was linked to the Oklahoma City bombing. The suit, which seeks documents from the FBI under the federal Freedom of Information Act, alleges that authorities mistook Kenneth Trentadue for a bombing conspirator and that guards killed him in an interrogation that got out of hand.

Trentadue's death a few months after the April 19, 1995, bombing was ruled a suicide after several investigations. The government has adamantly denied any wrongdoing in the death.

In his affidavit, Nichols says he wants to bring closure to the survivors and families of the attack on the Alfred B. Murrah Federal Building, which took 168 lives. He alleges he wrote then-Attorney General John Ashcroft in 2004, offering to help identify all parties who played a role in the bombing but never got a reply.

Nichols is serving a life sentence at the U.S. Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility in Florence, Colo. McVeigh, who carried out the bombing, was executed in 2001.

McVeigh and Nichols were the only defendants indicted in the bombing. However, Nichols alleges others were involved.

McVeigh told him he was recruited for undercover missions while serving in the military, according to Nichols. He says he learned sometime in 1995 that there had been a change in bombing target and that McVeigh was upset by that.

"There, in what I believe was an accidental slip of the tongue, McVeigh revealed the identity of a high-ranking FBI official who was apparently directing McVeigh in the bomb plot," Nichols says in the affidavit.

Nichols also says that McVeigh threatened him and his family to force him to rob Roger Moore, an Arkansas gun dealer, of weapons and explosives. He later learned the robbery was staged so Moore, who was in on the phony heist, could deny any knowledge of the bombing plot if the stolen items were traced back to him, Nichols claims.

He adds that Moore allegedly told his attorney that he would not be prosecuted in connection with the bombing because he was a "protected witness." Moore could not be reached for comment Tuesday.

In addition, Nichols says McVeigh must have had help building the bomb. The device he and McVeigh built the day before the bombing did not resemble the one that ultimately was used, Nichols says, and "displayed a level of expertise and sophistication" that neither man had.

Oh my...Nichols knows the name of McVeigh's FBI handler??? Hmmm...this revelation may not bode well for Nichols' short term health.

Darn, I thought Uncle Saddam was McVeigh's secret partner.

Didn't investigative journalist, Jayna Davis, and her compadre former CIA Director, James Woolsey, and other patriots like Glenn Beck and David P. Schippers and Frank Gaffney lead us to believe that there was Eeraki involvement?

True there's a lot of dust.

I would normally be skeptical about Nichols suddenly remembering this "slip of the tongue" by McVeigh about an FBI handler X number of years later.

But, but, but...here's what makes me think there is truth in what Nichols is saying now. And perhaps Nichols did not fess up from the start because he was scared to death but now jail life is a living hell and he's pissed and he is hoping that if he gives up the name of the FBI handler of McVeigh and planner of the Oklahoma Bombing, he might cut a deal to be housed in a better facility.

Look at the photos in my Jayna Davis link in #1 message - a true rogue's gallery - would you buy a used car from any of them? And there was such a concerted effort by Davis and Gaffney and Woolsey and reich wing talk radio to promote the theory about McVeigh being linked to "Middle Easterners" ( Saddam's people) running up to the Iraq invasion, that I'm thinking maybe it was a diversionary tactic to cover the true identity of McVeigh's handlers as much as it was prop to add yet another bad rap rumor to Uncle Saddam's coat tails.

Maybe the EEEEErakis (possibly contract agents of the FBI/CIA) have the same FBI handler as McVeigh. We should recall several middle eastern John Does that vaporized after they were allowed to board international flights by the FBI.

I agree with the health assessment.

“The First Highest Masonic Council was, as we have already said, formed on 31st May 1801 in Charleston, 33 degrees northern latitude, under the chairmanship of the Jew Isaac Long, who was made inspector general by the Jew Moses Cohen, and who had received his degree from Hyes, from Franken, and the Jew Morin.”

The one question I have asked myself, over and over, was why McVeigh would take secrets like this to his grave? If he was working for the FBI, and was set up as a patsy, why would he let himself be put to death without spilling the beans first?

The only two logical scenarios are 1) that he was not a patsy working for or with the FBI, or 2) the execution was faked and he was not put to death.

The only two logical scenarios are 1) that he was not a patsy working for or with the FBI, or 2) the execution was faked and he was not put to death.

The comments below are pure speculation.

Above all, McVeigh considered himself a soldier. Suppose he was approached with an offer he could not refuse. For example, suppose the feds approached McVeigh and explained he was a dead man, proving it by murdering Kenneth Trentadue in a federal prison cell as a demonstration.Suppose it was then explained if he cooperated, his sister Jennifer would live and his parents would live.

If he failed to cooperate he would still die,and his sister would die a very ugly death. McVeigh would have known the individuals giving the instructions were very serious, since he above all would have known where the plot to blow up a federal building with a day care center originated.

Now,hypothetically suppose you were given the choice to die and be the "good soldier" and your family lives, or die and have the ones you love most in the world die a horrible death?

In my opinion, there is a reason McVeigh's death certificate lists SOLDIER as his occupation. It was not a clerical error.

With the courage and integrity we've come to expect from him, the heroic Paul Craig Roberts has written publicly several times about this case. Here's one of his articles on the subject from a couple of years ago.

Bush 41 will be found out as Americans become more aware of his lifetime effort to destabilize the U.S., from the Bay of Pigs, Kennedy Assassination, OKC, WTC I and WTC II ... old man Bush has participated, organized, covered-up and should be hung by the neck until very dead.

This may be why he stated to Sarah McClendon "if the American people knew what my family has done they would chase us down the street and lynch us" !

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

From the department of you gotta be shitting me...

I was listening to Coast To Coast this evening and the first guest on was Alex Jones. So anyway, they're doing their song and dance about the affidavits and all that stuff, and then they start talking about who is responsible, and they specifically say "It's not the government doing this, it's not your government, but a rogue faction doing this..."

EVEN THOUGH THEY STARTED OFF WITH THE MANTRA THAT ALL TERRORISM IS GOVERNMENT SPONSORED TERRORISM.

This alone tells me that they are full of shit, and are exactly the shills and wackos being paid to voice their opinions about this topic. I nearly fell out of my chair when I heard both these jackasses say that the mainstream media will HAVE to take this seriously, now that it's been on Coast To Coast with George Noory. THEN... THE ICING ON THE BULLSHIT CAKE, was when they were talking about going and interviewing Nichols, and how if he wouldn't do an interview, or couldn't do one, that they should consider this affidavit a big pile of shit.

NO BIGGER DISINFORMATIONISTS HAVE I HEARD THIS WEEK.

Alex Jones to me is a total fake, just like George Noory. I know that Christine is going to be mad when I post this, but if you had heard these two retards, you'd know, and understand where I'm coming from.

This country's priorities are all fucked up.

"It's not the government doing this, it's not your government, but a rogue faction doing this..."

Sounds like a Kosher way of pointing to ZOG while not offending ethnic listeners.

Noory/Jones aren't half the shills of A. Bell, but each are following the rules of licensed radio.

There are a few reason to suspect the execution was not real...quickest killing since the Old West.

“Yes, but is this good for Jews?"

"It's not the government doing this, it's not your government, but a rogue faction doing this..."

That's AJ's ticket to get the word out to Noory's huge audience.

I think that AJ has made a calculation that it is a small price to pay for such a gain. I cringed too when I heard it and the weasally Noory in general makes my skin crawl, but the word is getting out thanks to his show and AJ's small compromises to continue to be on it, so, all in all, it is a net positive, I think.

Everyone understands what's going on when they hear stuff like that and can easily dismiss it as what it is. It's the small price paid to be able to talk at all about false flag terror on a nationally syndicated big time radio show.

Check out my blog, America, the Bushieful.

There in lies the problem.

People have compromised too much, in regards to the truth.

Today on the news, Michael Zebuhr's killers apparently pled out to 2nd degree murder. One guy got 12 years, the other 30, and the getaway driver got a year in the work house.

This country's priorities are all fucked up.
