For those of you who don't know who Johnny and Edgar Winter are, they are something that has never existed in the past and will never exist in the future -- two brothers, both albino, both Texan, both superb bluesmen. Edgar is the better known, since he had two hits -- "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride." This is one of the best versions of "Johnny B. Goode" I have ever heard.

They've been around since the early '60s, back when they both had short hair. I think this video is from the late '60s.

Johnny is singing and Edgar is on drums.

In high school my hair was as long as Johnny's ;-)

And, I met a squid from NYC who told me that whenever the bros played the city all the gays turned out.

The pic I saw of Johnny naked and laying on top of a naked man while French kissing pretty well confirmed it for me.

It was Johnny's version of Johnny B. Goode that I learned and I was a big fan until I heard that gay stuff.

I mean, I wouldn't want to be known as a Scissor Sisters clone today, would you?
