Yet another video from 9-11. In this one, Aaron Brown reports that WTC-7 has either collapsed or is about to. Now, given that WTC-7 is still visible behind Aaron, clearly it has not already collapsed, so where did this report come from?
Remember that before 9-11 (and since) no steel-framed building had ever collapsed from fire. For example, the Los Angeles First Interstate Bank building had burned clear down to the empty frame and remained standing. Yet here on 9-11 the collapse of WTC-7 (which pointedly fell just like a controlled demolition) is being announced ahead of time, even though the actual fire in the building is rather minor.

He knew it was about to collapse which means that the real terrorists got the word out before they brought it down. Why the heck did they do this? Who knows, they aren't that bright. Silverstein himself might have put the news out, he obviously isn't that bright. He must have a high position in his cult otherwise he would have been replaced with someone a little more competent.
I suspect it was all about trying to manage the initial the reactions of the individuals providing the live news coverage of the event.
What if two or more anchors had all commented "that looks like a controlled demolition"?
They had to get the message out before the demolition- it is going to collapse and it will collapse due to fire- before anchors applied their own common sense and judgement to what they were seeing.
I suspect there were intentional attempts to manage the live coverage.For example, on CNN after announcing WTC7 was about to collapse,a live shot of WTC 7 was placed in the corner of the screen, as you might expect. However,the live shot of WTC7 was removed before the collapse and viewers watching CNN did not see a live shot of the WTC7 collapse. I believe that was intentional so the footage could be screened before allowing viewers to see the collapse footage.
I watched a replay of the live footage on CNN last September 11 and it was clear to me during portions of the coverage when Aaron Brown was straying to far off message Jeff Greenfield was standing there to direct Brown down the proper path.

And I've watched reruns of live news reports on that day, where the reporters did say exactly that, "just like a demolition"; but as I recall it was about WTC1 and/or WTC2.
Dan Rather said WTC 7 was just like a demolition I think on live TV. He was one of the very few who commented on its collapse that day. I think he knew very well it was a demolition and was just trying to let other people know the truth without coming right out and saying it was a demolition.
