We’ve been looking at Drudge Report for years now. It is no secret that news researchers and common people alike visit Drudge daily if not hourly because he always has the news before anyone else. We are lead to believe that this time he took it too far with his headline “Greenspan Warns of Likely Recession” in combination with a sub story entitled “CHENEY ‘TARGET’ IN AFGHAN BLAST” Or was this the plan all along… Let Drudge be our vehicle to scare and warn the people. He will raise the hysteria on his site and the other news affiliates will follow. Perhaps he is told what to publish and when to publish it. And now main-steam media will make him out to be a prankster and this in turn will speed up the process of a ban on all public opinion and investigation that is out of line with the Official Story and published on the Internet. I am sure he will also apologize just like Kramer and the rest. We know who you are Drudge and we know who you work for.

Okay I went to the link 'full text'.. and all I see is what you've posted here... now tell me.. if you know who Drudge is..then say so and who does he work for?

Lets be perfectly clear here. It's a fanciful story to imagine that Matt Drudge sits around in his bathrobe scouring the web for breaking headlines. It is more likely that he is given these stories before everyone else due to the high-volume of readership or click through, as it were. He is a gate keeper to the real truths taking place. This latest scam made the small group of global bankers who run the stock market rich. Don't feel bad for Drudge. This move serves several agendas all at once.

This is bullshit. Even when I'm not trying hard, I can post breaking news stories off the wires, from the same sources drudge uses, long before he 'bothers' to post them to his pathetic site. Oh and about drudge's 'insider tips'. I would guess that at least 8 times out of 10 when he leads with a "developing teaser", I can go on the news circuit and find the complete report he is teasing with. This, of course...when I'm not even trying hard. /chuckle
scape goat? How so? On one hand youre saying hes a scape goat on the other being fed stories? Not following. And what of his involvement re the Lewinsky story I always thought it odd that he.. a supposed internet reporter on the west coast got the scoop on a HUGE story in DC? weird IMO.
This, of course...when I'm not even trying hard. Agreed. Anyone with a well fed rss aggregator tool can figure out whats going on world wide within an hour or so. OF course we all must remember this is repeated news and we in fact repeat everyday in an effort to keep up with the wave of information coming our way. Many interesting patterns can be observed when you scan 10k stories a night. One could go so far as to be able to predict what the next story will be with out really knowing what is going on. However, it is more difficult since Rummy left his post. The new news patterns are of a different breed all together.
imho DRUDGE was made a major journalist on purpose when he was givent he monica lewinsky story. he had that for 4 days before anyone else did. he's a propagandist. what else is new.
