George Ristau, the couple's son, took NewsChannel 8 on a tour of his parent's home Wednesday and outlined the details of his parents shooting deaths, including his mother's attempts to fight back and how his 4-year-old niece witnessed the crime, that took place one week ago Thursday. "We're trying to get through it," he told KGW. "I mean it's pretty tragic what happened... We're just trying to get through this whole situation." Ristau said the armed burglars "kicked this (side) door in" to enter the home, and then walked through a small hallway toward an adjacent room where a confrontation between the intruders and his parents occured. "Right here is pretty much where it all happened," he said, pointing to scattered bullet holes in the walls and ceiling of the home in the 20000 block of Matthieu St. NE in the small Marion County town of Donald. "They saw my dad standing there, shot him (immediately). My mom and my niece were over here. That's when my mom retaliated and shot the 14-year-old kid," Ristau said. "She shot one of the suspects and threw 'em into this wall. And there's blood and everything there." Becky Goode, 47, died exchanging gunfire with the teen suspects; she had been employed as a security guard at the Woodburn Outlet Stores and kept a .357 calibur handgun in the couple's home, Ristau said. Her 48-year old huband, who died instantly after being shot, suffered from a degenerative joint disease and was on disability. The couple's granddaughter, 4-year old Tiyaunna, was not injured in the gunfire, however Ristau said she witnessed the events unfold as she stood next to his mother -- who had cared for the girl over the past two years. He plans to adopt his niece and a fund has been set up at Washington Mutual bank branches for donations to help pay for the girl's counseling. When officers pulled over the three teen suspects on Interstate 5 south of Donald following the crime, two of them had gunshot wounds -- apparently from the exchange of gunfire with Becky Goode. Both boys were treated at hospitals for their injuries. Ristau is left wondering why it all had to happen: "My parents were good people. They tried to help everybody as best as they could." He said the family was worried that something bad might happen, after having witnessed two teens breaking into a neighboring house the day before. The teens fired on his parents when they noticed the couple had witnessed the break-in. "No more worries and no more cares now," he said. "They believe in God and I know (Heaven's) where they're at." Ristau said he supports prosecutor's efforts to put 14-year old suspect Ernie Perez ontrial as an adult for felony murder. Court papers filed this week allege that Perez was the trigger-man in the shootings and claim that his accomplices told police the boy had planned the killings in advance. "Perez was planning on killing the victims" if they recognized him from the prior burglary, a police affidavit said. "I think he should be tried as an adult," Ristau said. "He took his actions. He knew what he was doing." I don't know the immigration status, but the perps were all hispanic.

The perps...
Hey, expect more of this shit. In fact, since it's Cinco De Mayo, you can probably expect the crime rate to skyrocket this evening.
Celebrate that the Assault Weapon Ban ended last year.
Thanks, I forgot. I wonder if they'll be celebrating with road rage too.
What did the "New Americans" use on the Whities?
