It would appear that the Jewish people are as much victims of Zionism and the Israeli government as the American people are of Zionism and the U.S. government, proving again that it's not the people who make wars. It's the political leaders who use people as mortar bait for their own selfish motives. Most people of all races, religions, creeds and colors simply want to live out their lives on this earth in peace and harmony, yet we're propagandized to hate and fear each other so that we'll gather on the battlefields across the world to spill blood for the economic gain of those who wield the power. How evil and maniacal is that?

When you put the word Israel in quotes like that? That is being about as anti Israel as one can get.
So what is the story with these Orthodox Jews? I have heard about these Jews who don't think Israel is legit but what is the religious reason behind their thinking?
I believe it has to do with a punishment from G-D, that the Israelites were to be deprived of a nation until certain conditions were met. These conditions, I can't remember exactly what they were, but they certainly have NOT been met. Hence some feel that Israel is in defiance of the will of the Prime Mover.
Interesting. I will try and look into this sect and find out their thinking. On another note- it must be damn near impossible to build anything of significance in Israel with basically every other yard being holy to some group or other. You think zoning regs in America are bad? I can't imagine what a developer has to go through in Israel to build anything!

you're talking about on their protest signs? yes, i think that's a strong message that these orthodox jews are against the SECULAR AND POLITICAL STATE OF ISRAEL. it is an anathema to their religious beliefs and doctrines.
