For those of you who haven't noticed, I've been removing articles posted in Breaking news that are not news....and not even close to being news.

They are someone's idea of a personal rant. And since it isn't news, I'm not going to relocate it...I'm going to REMOVE it.

In the past, articles were posted in Breaking news that weren't. People got sanctioned or banned for doing that. Lately, SOME people just post any garbage they seem to have an obsession over, and even put in their own comments. That ends today. NOW.

I'm not going to fight any of you over it. It's a lost cause. But I moderate this site, and I will ensure that NEWS is what is being posted.

Anything that is NOT news is going to be PURGED. Got that?

REMOVED. No warning. Exceptions are ONLY humor, Editorials, and Biker Bar.

If it isn't news, it has no business even BEING here!!! This is a news forum.

And for repeat offenders, you've been warned. When you keep doing it, and they keep getting removed...keep in mind I'm noting your names. When I have to remove too many posted by the same name ...your account will go as well. No additional warning. This is IT.

So, for those of you with an axe to grind, or an idea you want to shove down our throats...over and over and over...this is your ONLY warning:

Visit GoDaddy - Start your own website ... focus your obsession there. Because it isn't welcome here. You know who you are.

This is something I'm NOT even going to discuss.

END of Announcement and my part in any Discussion.

Well, we meet Jill and Joe
And brother Herr
And the whole cool gang and, oh
They're rappin' here they're rappin' there
But she's climbin' on the wall
It's a clear case, Herr Kommissar
'Cause all the children know
They're all slidin' down into the valley
They're all slipping on the same snow

Of course she doesn't explain why she removed articles concerning Ron Paul which were not in breaking news.

Here's the deal. Goldi-whore make her living off of the death of GI's. Therefore, Ron Paul is a threat to her livelihood.

The ultimate 'kiss of death' for Ron Paul from the 'goldi types' is his lack of ass-kissing to the zionist lobby.

Without question, LP has become a wholly-owned operation of AIPAC.

Good gawd.. it's not about protecting the troops from being demeaned..it's about the uncritical support of politicians .. even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.. whether it be torture.. the covering up of the death of Pat Tillman by Generals.. whether it be murder of Iraqs.. doesnt matter now does it..

What a twat. Her breaking news policy – just prior to the war - was the reason I and many others bolted. As the countdown to Baghdad began in earnest, she imported caLOL and her harpies and they spammed the BN with everything from Michael Jackson updates to the progress of Ronald Reagan Alzheimer’s disease. This was done with the intent of driving anti-war BN down and eventually off the front page. She did nada when it fit her agenda, but apparently has a dual standard now.

I’d rather write graffiti on a bathroom wall than post at that pit.

I think "narrative" is the preferred term. They've ruined yet another word. :(

Narrative used to be used for clarification rather than obfuscation, did it not? Well, until Sun Tsu anyway.

Alright...NARRATIVES...

The Gospel According to Judas by Benjamin Iscariot

Chapter 2

1. Judas was a disciple of John the Baptist. This makes a big difference.

2. Some of the stories about Jesus were nothing but Greek myths, or so I've read somewhere.

3. A great deal of what Jesus did next happened in much the same way as it is written in the other scriptures, except Judas was much more important than those liars Matthew, Mark, Luke and John bothered to mention.

4. Judas was sore upset that many people had it in for Jesus. "I will follow you anywhere, Lord" he said.

5. Jesus answered: "You are my best disciple and it is I who should be calling you Lord. There will be people who want to strip you of your peerage and cast you into the confines of Belmarsh. But I say it is better that one sinner repenteth of his vanity, arrogance and perjury than that an honest man should enter the Upper Chamber."

6. "Who said anything about repenting?" Judas smirked.

“Yes, but is this good for Jews?"

Just what did Professor Griff say to the Washington Post? Damned if I'm able to find it, only that he said something anti-semitic. He got fired from a gangsta rap collective calling themselves "Public Enemy", singing(?) about hos and stabbin whitey and selling drugs to low-rider mexicans and whatnot, crimes, all of it. Once Griff lays into hymie his ass be invisibled, now that's real power.

I'm to the point with CDs, LPs, and books that it takes me more time to find something to listen to or read that it does to actually listen or read.

BTW, I just bought myself an early birthday present, a REALLY cool toy. My CD boombox in my bedroom is aging, so I went looking for a micro system to listen to NPR and CDs at night. I found this great box at Best Buy for $99. A solid wood box with a CD player, AM/FM radio, and a turntable to play my vinyl. And it works GREAT. I wouldn't use it as my primary music source, but for the bedroom, it's WAY more than enough.

Really, a turntabe? Now that's impressive. I didn't think they even made them anymore. I still have about 300-400 LP's. I bet I haven't listened to them in 20 years.

I bought a new turntable about 2 years ago, paid 150 or so.

I have about 100 LPs, most of which are junk because I played them a lot, and have had many of them since I was a child. Very torn up covers, unplayable disks.

I also have a collection of metal/punk/weird shit from the last days of indie vinyl. I really only bought the record player to hear one album - an EP as a matter of fact, it's titled "Beautiful Music For Beautiful People", a compilation that came out on Amity Records, I believe.

does it look like an old time radio?

Sort of. More like a fancy version of the old record player box I had as a kid, with shiny real wood (I carried the damn thing a half mile; it's HEAVY). Best $99 I ever spent. They had boomboxes there that cost far more. My daughter was here today and she is lusting for it. She's 16 and started buying vinyl because she thinks it's cool, even though all she has is an Ipod. I think I'll get her one of these for her birthday. The downside is, she'll start raiding my vinyl collection, and most of it is irreplaceable and not available on CD.

OTOH, she's my kid and I take great joy in seeing her take interest in things I like too. Wish I could get her to even notice baseball. I take her to Cub games every now and then. The last time, after a veggie hot dog, cotton candy, a coke, popcorn, and a tshirt, she said, you know dad, I really like baseball games. (pause) Except for the actual game.
